6:00 PM CST -
Senior Producer, Hans Lo and Associate Producer, Hector Sanchez are back to talk to the Mortal Kombat fanbase in the "official" MKast podcast. You can download the seventh episode at the WorldsCollide.com website.

This episode is in two parts, the first part Hans and Hector had special guest Shaun Himmerick (Former Mortal Kombat Producer.) They discussed Shaun's history with Mortal Kombat while producing games: Mortal Kombat: Armegeddon Wii, Mortal Kombat: Unchained and Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. He also discussed on how what he learned during being on the Mortal Kombat team and how that has helped him with his current project Wheelman. He then goes on to tease that there is a character that'll be in both Wheelman and Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe.

The next episode of MKast should be Dave Pindara (Environemnets & Technical Lead) and Steve Beran (Art Director) according to Hector via the Midway Forums.

There is a lot more information in the "MKast" and you can listen to it here.

Best thing about this thread is somebody's new avatar.

So, is this one worth listening to?

Hell no. Worst one of the whole bunch. I mean, there was more talk about *COUGH* MK Armageddon Wii and that Wheelman game than MKvDC. I'm sorry, but it was a waste of time, and no reason to even call it a MKast.

Thanks for the heads up.

What do you guys think of the "crossover" character to appear in Wheelman? I've got my bets on The Joker, but it's very unlikely and just due to Shaun's comments.

I think its a MK character, like Kano, Jax or Sonya.

Well I was referring to the comments he made in the podcast, he later refers again to the character with a fatality that we know about and how we reacted to it. Seemed to clearly make a connection there to Joker's fatality.

Hmm, I must have missed that. I admit, that podcast was hard to pay attention to, lol. Then maybe Scorpion. I just cant see a DC character in that game. But I do hope its the Joker.

Well Wheelman looks dogshit, but if it has an MK character in it, it will probably end up in my collection.

I enjoyed Wheelman when I played it back in April, I would guess it'll be even better once done. It's a fun action driving game in the spirt of movies like Ronin.

I've never heard of this "wheelman" game before now. But I might rent it if it has an MK character (or the Joker) in it.

Are you guys serious!? It's gotta be Shao Kahn as the announcer for Wheelman! It's only common sense!
