An additional cut-scene screenshot was added to Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon's personal website, noob.com. Ed continues to give us a tiny look at the single player campaign of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, something that we still to this day know very little about. This screenshot reveals a first ever look at a story mode situation where a Mortal Kombat character is featured in a DC Universe location. Here we see Sub Zero in the middle of downtown Gotham.

Looks really cool it looks like sub zero is disappointed about something.

He cuts off after Nether, I'm sure he was gonna say Netherealm, so something might of gotten his attention.

That's a good point. At first I thought he was just trying to be all mysterious saying "nether" and trailing off...but I think you're interpretation is more likely. I'm guessing a DC character makes an appearance, maybe The Joker robbing a bank.

Thanks, and yeah he could be distracted by something, or someone.

Bout time we started some of the DC world in these screenshots although a few DC characters next time wouldn't go amiss I agree it does look like he's been distracted mid-sentence. Maybe as he seems to be looking at the floor, he's seen Scorpion's mask after he's had a fight with Bats and dropped it? Just random speculation though!

Yo! I just saw that one of the Midway forum users got an interview with one of the developers, and the Dev. said that they will be releasing the Opening Cinematic in about THREE WEEKS!! SWEETNESS!!!

Are you serious! I can't wait! I'm so hyped for this game, I can't wait for its future games! MK9 and MK10!!!

Jeez dude, just be excited for this game. Unless it does well Midway is probably going to be in the hole for A LOT of money. Build hype for MKvDC so we can HAVE an MK9 or 10. Still, I don't want to see the opening before I get the game...but alas, I'll probably look anyway.

I'm not gonna watch. In fact, because I'll have to wait for it to get here from the US, I'm gonna temporarily leave to forum on release day. I love the cinematics of MK games, and I want to see it in 1080p the first time I see it.

Im with you entirely here, but the temptation is too difficult usually; when you know it is only a click away. Every single game I have not been able to withstand the temptation and not visit the forums, go to gamespot for gameplay or screenshots, nor look for any leaks I can find. As much as I love this site and other sites online, how amazing would it be for November to come around and you see a commercial on TV for the new game and that is the first time you see anything about the game and it will come out in a week or so.

I am excited for this game, and I know this game will suceed, so thats why I'm also excited for MK9 and 10, and I'm probably gonna watch the Opening for the game before I get the game.

i'll be all over that video as soon as it is out. i can't wait to see it! :shot:
