Your wishlist for MK10

Or just have them both, because you really can't have one without the other. They could pull a Noob-Smoke like in deception or they could be separate characters.
 
Moloch should be a sub-boss

I don't really care for Drahmin overall but I do see some potential in him

I'd kinda like NRS to expand on his story as an Outworld warlord if they ever bring him back (which they won't, since Ed Boon hates him almost as much as Hsu Hao, but whatever)

Keyword: Sucked.

Past tense, they could shift some things around and turn them into two dynamic characters in the story. If we could stop clinging to the past and look at the other options NRS could take with characters you'd see them differently. They killed off half the cast for a reason, and I think they did it to give the Post MK4 character to shine.
 
Come on Drahmin is bad ass. With the whole mask thing he's my favorite mk character after umk3. I just always thought he was the coolest with flies always on him and what not.
 
I agree Vital, but not every single character in MK is salvageable

Not saying that you think that, though, but NRS doesn't really have the imagination required to give everyone a second chance and make them good. My point? It's that not every character needs to be brought back just because they have some potential, because simply having potential and having that potential realized are two different things

I agree with you, not every character deserves a second chance.

I just don't want people to dwell in the past of the old timeline, there's so much NRS can do to progress the story now and I feel that starting with the characters people look down upon should take priority over bringing back the ones who died in MK9.

This movie got a 1/10

Let's make a sequel and hope it does better instead of just creating an entirely new movie.

I agree. In MK11, I bet most of the characters from MK9-10 will be dead including most of the heroes, so this is where Taven and Shujinko would step in. Kira and Kobra should have have unique moves (Sonya and Kano might be dead during this time already btw), so Kira might be the next female earthrealm hero and Kobra might be the next Johnny Cage or another thug in this era since Kabal is dead and won't be recruiting those two. Don't know what Boon has planned but it better be good and not be a waste. I also agree with what Metal Overlord said about killing off the characters. This would give post MK4 characters a chance to shine.

I can already see Tanya replacing Jade, Li Mei replacing Kitana, and Nitara replacing Sindel in MK10.

i actually liked moloch he had a brutal flair to him

also i somewhat liked hotaru(dat armor) and havik and i feel if nrs can truly delve deep into the two and flesh em out more i feel that they can become some very likable characters though it still bothers me to high hell that hotaru has a girls name though along with reiko

I like Hotaru but not his face. Looks like MKDA Raiden in armor.

I like Havik's story but I'm not too crazy about his abilities. He feels like something out of a B-rate horror movie.

the only reason why i like havik was the fact that he was the closest thing to a "freak" character mk ever had i know there are a bunch of freaky looking characters in mk but none with the exception of meat truly maimed themselves in a fight like havik did
 
For sure, Kai will replace Kung Lao, Frost will replace Sub-Zero, and Tremor will replace Smoke in MK10. Also what I kind of see happening is that Skarlet, Mileena, and Sheeva might die so they will most likely be replaced with Sareena, Kia, and Jataaka. Fujin can replace Raiden if the Thunder God dies. Then when Sonya dies, Kira will replace her and Kobra can replace Johnny Cage in MK11 . I think it's a good thing if that's what Boon is doing. However, Scorpion will still be alive but maybe as the main hero instead since the creators love him a lot.

@Vital- Well, neither timeline is without significant problems, that's probably a big reason why a lot of people still dwell on the original. While reintroducing characters can certainly help progress the story, if the story itself isn't straightened out along with other elements like atmosphere and ambition, they won't do much at all help the progress of the new timeline

What they really need to do to improve the new timeline's story is try to recapture the atmosphere that the older games had, cut down on the number of retcons (the old timeline really had this problem), expand on the realms and mythos of the MK universe, and try not to overdo the camp element like what arguably happened with MK9's story mode
