A good, tanky, barbaric female character who wields big weapons like war hammers and battle axes, and looks as if she can break most men in half with ease...with her bare hands. I think it would be a nice contrast to woman kombatants we already have like Kitana, Jade, Mileena etc. who tend to be quick graceful in their movesets. She would be tall (almost Shao Kahn height), brutish yet feminine, she would rely on her strength and brawn instead of speed and agility and she would wear a heavy suit of armor for her primary outfit. Basically a female Viking warrioress if you will.

What do you guys think?

Wow hankypanky is back it seems #imdone Get me out of here please

I love the idea of an Amazonian character. Don't immediately like the idea of large weapons, but I could get used to it.
Someone like Sheeva, but less arms and less ugly.

I like the Idea, but I don't like the first picture. The second is much better and it really fits MK.
Agreed.

The first one doesn't look really like a female at all IMO.

But the second one is awesome. It'll be really nice if we get something like this.

I'd want a dominatrix with a Buzzsaw like weapon attached to a pole so she can split guys vertically in half. (I know its repetitive but I like to keep recommending.) ;)

A female hulking character could be cool. You don't see to many female heavy hitters in anything really. Especially since NRS seems to be focusing on adding that type of character to their games, with Ferra/Torr and Solomon Grundy in Injustice for example. I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that Ed Boon said they were making an effort to add more characters to MK who fit the big, slow, strong mold.

The closest I've seen to that in gaming is Sorceress Adel in Final Fantasy VIII. The fact that her boobs are literally flat is a tell-tale sign of super extreme female steroid use.

Not a fan of females characters nor of big strong characters but yes, it would be a nice add. Tough I would not like to see another female in bra like that second pic :gr_jest: There's already enough of them anyway. And far from enough sexy males.

If NRS decides to do something like this, with their track record, they'll make her skinny looking, small & overall screw up the proportions. I'd bet the axe is actually going to be bigger than her, impossible to lift let alone swing, with the oddly placed thick armor plates that no sane barbarian, warrior or knight would wear. Which makes no sense in a fighting game that started to pretend recently "the mantra for this game has always been realism".
As concepts, the first picture's good, but kinda goes into the Skyrim territory. Second one is meh.

Sheeva was the first thought that came to mind when I read of a description of a female warrior based on brute force. Though Sheeva is not that big on the armor bit.
