Would this be epic...?

If you have Kinect / move / Wii that you could choose a character and you really can fight.
So if you do a uppercut your character will do an uppercut. And if you want to freeze with Sub-Zero you do the Freeze animation.
And if you want to slide you do the Slide animation.

It is hard to explain but it will be totally epic.
It would be like that.

What do you think of it? It will be hard to make but I am sure it will be possible about over 40 years.

Lol it was an april fools video

Well I don't think it would be epic because what if you wanted to play as Kano. Do you want to do the cannonball motion yourself and hurt yourself?

Or Skarlet's Xray.

It would take far too long to perform moves compared to pads/sticks and you could often do a move you didn't mean to do especially as you pack more moves or make the motions to perform such moves similar. Sorry but fighting games like MK, SF, etc. often require too much strict timing, precision, and execution for motion controls to be viable for even the lowest levels of play.

I already knew it was an april fools video but it was an good idea.

The cannonball motion can be easily done since you only have to make yourself a ball.
And Skarlet`s Xray would not be that hard to perform.

Sorry but I did not see the disadvantages of it. Some Xray moves like Baraka`s X-Ray or Ermac`s would be impossible.
But it would be a cool idea.

The word epic is thrown around so easily these days.
I went into this thread expecting to see something like a person going down Kilimanjaro on a mountain bike, riding the Swiss Alps on an inner-tube, jumping 10 school buses on a dirt bike or punching a shark in the face. :|
