Right? I think WAS is the only one who understands here. This sort of shit always happens. I never expected the Yanks to sweep, nor did I expect them to win in five. Six at the least. Now it's down to game seven (as usual). The Red Sox pitching is worn out, they have no bullpen to speak of, Ortiz is carrying the team (except last night, I'll give them that, that was Schilling's night), and the game's at Yankee Stadium. Jumping !@#$' Jesus how bad can your luck get?
The NLCS is heating up now too, but I'm still saying St. Louis in the end, they're down but they're not out.
And are there any Yankee fans here who also want to beat the living shit out of the umpires from last night's game? What a load of crap. I wouldn't be surprised if most of those guys got jumped. First, two bullshit calls (the homerun was fine, but A-Rod's call was bull, and so was the one-out double play shortly afterward), then the police on the sides . . . !@#$' umpires.
Now, bear with me while I explain why the call on A-Rod was bullshit. First, he was running down the line. Arroyo was in the way. INTERFERENCE ON ARROYO. But no, that's okay, A-Rod is forced to miss the base, in the process of trying to run around Arroyo knocking the ball out of his hand. I mean, shit, HE MISSED THE BASE! How is that not interference? Not only that, but he wasn't even looking in the direction Arroyo's hand was, he didn't see the ball, it was an accident committed while he tried to avoid crashing into him. I !@#$' Tivo'd that game and watched that part over and over and over again, and I'm tellin' ya it was unintentional.
GO YANKEES!
