Why so many spoilers?

I don't know if ts just me, but is there no one who likes to hold off on knowing pretty much everything about a game before it's released? I mean I know spoilers are to be expected but Jesus, I'm pretty sure people don't wanna know about hidden fights, or crucial parts in the story (there are some people who have actually seen the WHOLE story on YouTube). I use my iPod most of the time when I'm on TRMK, so I click on the "New Posts" tab. This shows spoiler thread posts as well, and some of them are named after what they are, giving away a spoiler. It really kinda sucks not being able to come on the site and look around without having to watchout for every little thing. I guess I could stay on the MK 2011 threads with people fighting over which console is better, or how Street Fighter sucks. How exciting.

Only spoilers I looked for were standard roster characters but like you said things are in the title.

I hate spoilers especially for a game I'm this interested in.
 
almost everything is out there, I myself couldn't stop from watching all the Fatalities on Youtube but don't want the Story ruined for me. If I were you DCP and you can wait do so it will be a little better that way.

Yeah dude, that's all I looked up as well just wanted to know who was in the game. And it's not just on TRMK, I have people spamming Twitter and Facebook with MK related videos as well. It's really annoying. It's like I can't be on the Internet till after Tuesday. Even then people who've had the game this whole time will be super ahead of us and ruin things for the patient people. Did you know someone already beat the challenge tower? That's pretty sad.
 
^^it's crazy that someone has already complete the challenge tower.

Tonights my last night on TRMK until I finish the game.

Yeah I'm waiting bro. For sure. Not watching any 2nd fatalities or cutscenes from the story. Not worth it, it will be so much better when I discover these things myself.
 
Yeah dude I feel ya! I wanted to take a break to stay away from here but I kouldn't help but to kome back to TRMK. To addicting. I dont like it that they are doing spoilers in a non spoiler thread. Even in the video thread there is videos of stuff I didn't wanna see. Then threads that are suppose to be in the spoilers section but they aren't. UGHH! Thanks God I finally have to will power to not look the spoilers anymore. The game is kinda ruined for me tho. I wish it wasn't but its to late.

Yeah man I saw that. Seriously like 4 threads went up about it in 10 minutes I swear. (Exaggerated but still...)

I visit the Spoiler section here and there to see about something in particular, but no dice. It's like walking through a mine field with no minesweeper.
 
Yeah I don't want that to be me. No TRMK for me after this for a good while. Just to promote my videos and find matches.
 
yeah im with you, sometimes i cant but to look at the spoilers just because i want a little bit of something new that day, what i learned from this experience is DO NOT watch, Read, Glace or even Think about going to ANY MK website before launch. you cant even watch a youtube video about mk without some 12 year old punk spoiling the game for you ugh

YouTube is the worst. You look up anything MK and in the "Related" section there's spoilers for hidden characters and their fatalities.
 
If you don't have the will to stay away from a forum for a week or 2 then you either aren't as effected by spoilers as much as you let on...or you have some addiction problems...

either way, blaming the forum for your own personal issues isn't the way to go...

So I'm supposed to stop going on a forum I'm a regular on because the game is being released? Doesn't sound too logical. And no I'm not addicted, just like to give input on different topics. I'm not blaming the forum, as you saw I named not only TRMK but Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube as well. It's not the sites fault, it's the people's fault for ruining things for others. For example people putting spoiler threads in non-spoiler forums, or naming the threads with a spoiler.
 
This happens with every game leak. Spoilers are EVERYWHERE in huge amounts. The only thing you can do, if you can, is to literally stay away from all forums, social networking sites and Youtube.
 
The only difference with these spoilers, IMHO, is the screen you watch them on. Being as my PC is hooked up to my LCD T.V. via HDMI, seeing 1080p Youtube videos of new fatalities is really not different than seeing them on my PS3. ALL of the fatalities shown are not 'secret'. They are given to everyone once they pop open a few crypts or play though a few game modes. It's kinda like everything is really just handed to us. NOW, knowing the prize for the challenge tower HAS NOT interested me, as I WOULD like this to be a surprise when I beat it myself. Hopefully there are some finishers peppered throughout the game that are truly hidden. This is my biggest hope right now. The lame-alities that were the 'other' -ality for each character were pretty much a wet firecracker for me.

EDIT: Someone alluding to the prize in another thread made me fearful...so I had to look. It's so frigging lame that I have no interest in the Challenge Tower anymore. :(

Not sure why people are straight being pricks to him about it lol he's right.

Even if it's smarter to stay away - his biggest issue is more with things that are rules anyways. Don't put the spoiler in the title, and keep spoilers in the spoiler section.
 
Everyone needs to respect others that choose not to be spoiled information about the game. Please watch what you guys say when in the forums. There's a place specifically for spoilers if you want to be heard.
