Why Kan't we all just get along?

So i main Noob but i always get hate for using him. Even pulling high % combos and fatalities i have never gotten over an 8 in KOTH. I'm just venting. The thing i don't understand is even hardcore players give me crap. Oh well thanks for letting me vent hahahahaha.

Hell you can get a flawless in King of the Hill and still be rated a 0 from the (sore) loser. Anyway take those low ratings as a complement, people know they can't harm you during a match so they'll do whatever they can to try to iritate you. So...**** them

Agreed dude. **** em'. If you win, you win. so long as you don't spam and spam and spam. Mix it up a bit. And if they STILL get mad, **** em'. The only reason I get mad for losing is lag. And that's not even the other player's fault in this game.. I'd never go outta my way to send some random person hatemail. Doesn't make since, imo. Whateva. Forget about it, if you're winning, then you're winning. Forget it.

Any character that pretty much forces the opponent to play a certain way is bound to incite hatred in the scrubby, that's-so-cheap-and-lame crowd, because they generally refuse to adapt their strategies, and prefer to complain instead.

The intention of KOTH score note point system is fun and good, but in pratical way, scrubs, newbies, haters and just ****ing online losers show who they are there : a bunch of imature spoiled babies that cannot deal with a loss in a simple videogame. So, the key is not take serious that shit there, because if you win, you won , and the loser, just has to deal with the fact you were a better player in that match. In the end, or they deal with that, or they can ****ing die, hehe.

By now I've almost heard complaints about every single character being cheap/easy to use etc so it's all kind of redundant now lol. Although to me Scorpion is still the most annoying and easiest to use, but yeah, overall if you cannot find a way to defeat a certain character basically it just means your not good enough, no matter how many excuses you can make about the opponent................unless it's Shao Kahn. Then all is justified.

That's because Noob is one of the easiest characters to use.

Well, this is not true.
Noob may appear easy to use, but the truth is he is one of the hardest character to master...you can't just spam shadows and hope your opponent stays away from you :/

this is exactly why. It's the same with Starcraft 2 players occasionally. Instead of adapting their play "which noob saibot WILL FORCE you to do" They'd rather complain probably try to get noob nerfed or scream he's OP so later down the line they can continue playing the same 1-2 strategies or play styles they have and try to keep winning. God forbid they have to think.

In Starcraft 2, there are so many threads of people asking Blizzard to NERF things that aren't even broken just because they don't know how to deal with it. IMO if you're not pro, you have very little say on balance.

I don't understand why people care so much about online scores in a video game.
Also this... It doesn't really show your skill.

these are the effects i've seen. REALLY good players once they find a challenge they keep them making their win/loss ratio 1-1. or lose 2-5 and win 1. whatever the case the better players tend to have less than super high scores because they want to learn and you can only learn by fighting someone close to your skill or higher.

where as lower level people think it's cool to have 400 wins... they will quit when they lose to someone who dominates them and goes find someone who's REALLY bad to build up wins. So it becomes deceptive when looking at stats.

and that's why I believe they don't matter at all.

I have to politely disagree with you. Noob is the spamiest character I've encountered online. Alternating Shadow Rush and Shadow slide over and over. Without a teleporting character, the cool down for both those moves is so small that they can just be thrown over and over in a constant flow keeping you away from him. My beloved Kitana, I'm sad to say, seems second only to Noob by having the ability to bombard the opponent with dual fan blades over and over and teleport butt slam when you anticipate the opponent trying to jump over them.

As far as the low scores seen in KotH, it's most likely because they are all IGN people playing you. ;-) Seriously though, eff them effin effers and just continue to whip ass. And if you play a non-spammy Noob, please keep up the respectable work!

It's only that simple against people who can't handle the basic first step. The first step is mixing up shadow upknee, slide, rush. To keep them out.

Once you are able to deal with that... then you get to fight a noob saibot's close game. until he gets a grab or a shadow up knee on you. which the process repeats itself.

Jumping in on noob is dangerous so you have to rely on dash block/teleports/ your own projectile game(if it can outplay noobsaibot) I've had problems with flying sindels)/ Or get in with a Enhanced move that has ARMOR frames like stryker's roll in attack.

sorry if you see it as mindless mixing up. Alot of thought goes into the paper rock scissor zoning. sometimes Rush is safe sometimes it's not. same for slide. Shadow upknee is reactionairy that's why you can't jump unless you activated a safe jump scenario.

I was kicking everyones as in king of the hill. I had some good respect points after I beat everyone atleast once. However, once I beat them the second time around I got like 2's and 3's lol. Sore losers.
