Why do XBOX players need a special feature?

Your calling out the console fanboys I understand. Taj is pretty much trying to explain that there shouldnt be these bogus console wars really. I think some are just taking what he says out of context

If you are purely an XBOX owner then you arent familiar w/ Kratos anyway. Sony/WB/NRS put him in to generate a few more sales for the betterment of the Mortal Kombat franchise.

Well, I believe the reason is the fact that 360 owners were told they would be getting something. It'd be different if NRS had come out and said "Sorry, guys the 360 will not be getting any exclusive content, just the PS3" I don't think many would be as mad. But, the fact that Boon said that he had something in store for them that would make them "happy" or whatever. So, I do understand the frustration. Just getting led on constantly with no straight up answers. If the roles had been reversed on this situation, there would be just as much whining.
 
I'd rather have ed boon tell the truth, for example, saying "sorry there is no xbox exclusive" rather than him lying saying "xbox users will be happy" and then there is nothing in store for us. you know what i mean?

Thing is though is NRS and most Devs are the little guys when it comes to these things just like us. There under WB who is really the ultimate say things depending who they have done business with. Its a complicated mess and in previous posts I felt I explained it pretty well. Ive said my bit on the matter and hopefully people will understand it

no thats EXACTLY what it means, Mortal Kombat isnt mortal Kombat if it has Kratos, its not pure, it was suppose to be a reboot, not a cross over

1st off this thread is pointless and has been discussed several times, 2nd, It was the PS3 fanboys who came out and cried when the Pit 360 rumor came out, Now that is selfish.
 
I feel bad that on such a big week Boon and his staff are catching shit on twitter for ONE extra character. One character that helps them garner interest and make more money. And the better they do the better they can do w/ DLC. And if PS3 user dont like Kratos they can let him sit on the sidelines. Everybody wins

i feel bad for this community because YOU for some odd reason had to start more shit than it needed
there where plenty of threads, you could have stated your opinion their or kept your mouth shut and let this thing blow over =/

I suggest some people go back and read some of our posts and you will see this thread really isnt that pointless. Most of us are trying to explain that fanboysim on consoles isnt really right and that everyone should be treated the same buts the big guys like WB Microsoft and Sony who have the ultimate say.

I own PS3 because I just perfer the controlls and layout ive always been use to it, But im not saying that we should get exclusives im saying everbody should get the samething but it wont happen at least till the future and its too bad.

Ya, I understand the mess and all just pointing out that it was said. It shouldn't really be said if you you're not sure on the matter. Even if Boon was just trolling, there are still people who would believe him on the matter and explains why so many are up in arms about the situation.

In all honesty, I think the old tired argument of "PURE MK" is more annoying than "WHY NO 360 EXCLUSIVE?!". Plus, gotta love how many people throw out "Well, most people don't want Kratos in!", when they are just basing it off of a MK dedicated forum where obviously, the more die hard fans will be. Just use the world "many" or "some". No point in exaggerating to try to prove points.

I would have been happy to have him in the 360 version. I enjoyed the first two God of War games on the PS2. He's a bonus character. If I didn't like him, I just wouldn't pick him. If I were a control freak that got pissed when other people's ideals didn't match my own, I'd hate when others played as him.

Its childish posts like these that turn threads to garbage. Its almost like people are trying to get it closed b/c its so upsetting.
