Who's beaten top 100 players?

LOL. Beat Jobbermania (#29), who was even worse. Sonya ring toss spam in an attempt to get me in the corner (they did once) where they try to spam low kick. Port to punish ring toss, followed by sweep. Crossover jump-in combo. Profit.


Quite a few top 100s on PSN at this moment, get at em!
 
Honestly, I don't agree with how we're ranked. It's by wins. So anyone who plays 1000+ matches has an advantage. I think it should rank by win RATIO. My 5:1 ratio (56-11 currently) would outrank a lot of these top 100s.
 
I played someone who was ranked 13 and I beat his Cyrax with my Kano, not even spamming knives or up ball and he wouldn't rematch :(. Top 25 or so players are kinda sour other than nabilose who will be a good sport.
 
Personally, I've fought the dude who was number 1 in ranked (at the time, it was ur moms l0va or something like that). Then recently a friend of mine and myself beat the two guys who are reigning the tag matches. Immortal something.
 
The two who you're talking about are Immortal Zodiac and Immortal Angel. My best friend and I have lost to them one time, but we figured out a way to beat them when we came across them again a second time later on on the Rank Tag Team Match. It was nostalgic to face them and they're pretty decent bunch of guys that can give you a run for your money.

As far as Rank Matches go, I'm right now in the 131 area and just about there to top 100. I've faced top players on there before and agree to those who posted on here. Some of them are worth to fight. While others shouldn't really be up there cause they got there by some sheer of luck with a lame character they use.

I main Scorpion right now and have not even seen "one" good Scorpion player in Rank right now. Player section I've heard there's two people who are really good with him. Hopefully I'll come across one of them and see if what I herad is true. Just upsets me mainly to not see a Scorpion user who uses him to not even "do" a combo other then to spam his teleport and hellfire. That's it. Saddens me.
 
Go by Win/Loss ratio in judging someones skill in ranked, all ranked is his how many wins you have. You could have 500 wins and 499 losses and be ranked in the top 100. It's a grind fest, it should purely go by win/loss ratio. Skill points are even hard to judge, I had the 2nd most skill points in ranked by beating rank 1 & other top 5 ranked players. Top 5 doesn't mean anything just that you played more matches. So the only way to judge a player is there win/loss ratio.

In player matches of course that is not the case since you can newb hunt people and make whatever record you want for yourself. So essentially all anyone has to do is hunt for players that they will dominate & grind wins off them.

That is why ranked is more important then player matches, long as your anywhere in the top 100 people will see your win/loss ratio.

Yeah, a lot of the top 100 are barely over a 1.0 win rate. IMO anyone over 2.0 is a good player. Over 4.0 is great. And so on.
 
Good god. I played BestNightmare and his Jax has the most insane mix ups ever. I finally beat him once with my Sheeva. He is really unpredictable.
 
i beat M-KScorpion...last i checked he was #1. of course he picked scorpion and he was very predictable. all he did was do 111 spear teleport. the leaderboards dont mean anything on this game..all they show is who plays the game the most.
 
Yesterday I had a great evening, even though I noticed an unsual lag in ranked matches. I had 3 matches against #1 and I lost the 3 fights, I manage to beat him a round per fight. The dude mains Reptile & Ermac. I beat # 6 & 9. I am progressing slowly, my actual rank is # 147.
I hope the game will be patched soon in Europe, the waiting time in ranked is still enormous.
 
The first 3 top players I've beaten, they were all in one room lol, one of them did nothing but spam he was easy, the others were training him I think cuz they knew sick combo's but still got them a couple of times, lol. Stats mean diddely that's for sure, you can reach the top by playing different ways good or bad, spamming, zoning ,cheating (multiple consoles for one player... no-life options heheh) or just a lot.
 
See him above coke or whatever hes called was awesome with noob, but as you can see with mr Chi he isnt really. I dont pretend to be the best in the world but i practice alot and find it hard to do anything over a 9 hit combo online
 
I have the worst memory for this shit. I did face one top 100 two days ago, he had over 700 wins and 50 loses or something like that and I beat him three times with my Nightwolf. He played Raiden, Noob Saibot and Sub-Zero. He was not a bad player actually, but also not that good either. I need a challenge to improve my Nightwolf and the reason my ratio is quite poor (250-130 I think) is because I tend to fight ONLY good ratios, expecting some good challenges, and someone who picks these characters and don't even win a round, it's not really that much of a challenge. His Sub-Zero was completly destroyed and then he picked Raiden and simply spammed teleport and, seriously, I cannot stand Raiden so after that I left (the last round was a close match and my reflector saved me), I was already expecting him to pick Raiden again and I have little pacience for that old man.

I did lose against TOP 100 and it was completely fair for them to win, so...
