I'm still familiarising myself with alot of the characters but so far I'd say...

1. Jade
2. Kung Lao
3. Scorpion
4. Kitana
5. Noob Saibot
6. Sektor

Still haven't decided which 2 I'll main, but once I've gone through the Challenge Tower and completed the game once with each character then I should have a better idea of who I like best.

EDIT:

Even though Kano doesn't have as many special moves as most of the other MK characters, he's so much damn fun to play as.
I LOVE the fact that he laughs sadistically when he's choking you, and if you do his Enhanced Choke move he calls you a "b.i.t.c.h". LOL. ;-)

NRS did a good job on making Kano more ruthless.

I'd prob use one of the ninjas if the noobs didn't flock to them already (looking at you Smoke)
