What's the first thing you're going to do once you have mkx?

Story mode then im beating the computer on all difficulties..I will beat the expert ladder every day for about 5 months before I go online just to warm up..

Also I'll be mastering the JOHNNY Cage's "a list" and fista cuffs"variations..

I won't start using cassie till much later down the road.

I usually check out the menu, and set all of my preferred controls and such. Then I'll probably head into Story mode for a bit. Then into ladder play. Once I'm comfortable with the game, I'll go online and see how I do.

We'll have to see who gets the game first bud ;) haha im almost 100% sure im going to get it 3/4 work days early, but im going to call him up once more just to make extra sure

You know tbh actually, it would be easier for me, just to tell you whats going on and you can make the thread, i've got almost no experience doing it in right order with all the spoilers, so when I get mkx ima let you know everything. + screens etc etc
 
Stare at the faction selection screen for hours because I don't know who to join... A majority of players will join Lin Kuei. But I want to join White Lotus. But then we'll always lose because of the low amount of people...
 
Will be taking April 15, 16, 17th off - hopefully finish story mode and get some online games in.

TBH, will most likely play some Diablo 3, and Killer Instinct as well, but goal is to concentrate on MK.

Dammit I really wanted to make this thread lol. Because I have the import I'll make sure it is a US copy so I can see if I can play online with ppl here and if not I'll go buy another copy of MKX. But I'll go into practice mode and select Ermac and someone else who looks cool just to use the share feature on ps4 and get screenshots for my twitter and facebook. And then I'll do a couple challenge tower missions before story.. I wouldn't do a ladder because I don't want to be spoiled on the final boss. Oh and if the music is low like MK9 I'll most likely lower the sound effects because I like to listen to the music in every part of an MK game. Will also see if pressing start will do anything when selecting an arena too.

I feel the same way. I want to choose either Brotherhood of Shadow or Special Forces, but I know that these two factions will have a lack of representatives compared to the others, thus resulting in losing majority of the wars.

After I spend a considerable amount of time choosing my faction, I'll head straight to the character select screen in training mode & select a character that intrigues me; studying their moves, variations, etc. until I'm finally satisfied. After that, story mode!

I'll crank up all the settings to max for best experience and start Story Mode. I'll try to finish it in one big chunk.
 
First thing i'm doing is playing kenshi. Legitimately a kenshi fanboy. And since I know he's not the character I get to play as first in story, i'm just going to play as him against a friend or something. Then i'm going to play story. :D
