What Pad/Stick do you use?

No, I mean't "how do you adjust it to loose?". But now I realize that the switch I highlighted is actually the turbo speed modes.

It's on the back of the controller, it looks like a keyhole, the switch to reverse the shoulder buttons is at the top. I have a bunch of pads and this one is still my number 1.

Received it yesterday. Tried it out and it does take some getting used to.

I changed the switch at the back of the controller (with a penny) and I put it to S (as from what I read it was the most sensitive setting).

Seems to work extremely well and feels solid, but I do get tangled up in the R1 and R2 on the side of the controller. I may try your settings and see how that works out

I messed with the settings on the back of the hori pad but I can't tell a difference so for now I play on normal.

I had put it on L thinking it was for Loose, but I seemed to have trouble getting specials together. I switched it to S and it seem to work a lot better (S for sensitive I guess?). Atleast that's what the manual said, but from what I'm rereading from C-Sword, I might actually be playing on stiff.

I should retry and see what the real difference is. Only played with it for about 30 minutes.

''S'' is stiff lol, I used to play on normal, but loose is much better, I like the fact that you don't have to press the d-pad all that hard for the input to register when playing on loose. But hey, play on normal/stiff if it works better for you

@Grump, if I see you this sunday, I'll let you play with my snes controller :)

Oddly in the owners manual it said that the S was for sensitive mode. Or maybe I misread it in french...

Thanks for the answers guys, ended up getting the MadCatz SFIV stick.

As silly as it may seem, I found this video incredibly helpful. I found myself trying to hold the stick in very uncomfortable ways, this video showed me some helpful alternatives.

Well, after a full week of playing with that Hori FC3 Pro controller, I must say that I'm absolutely sold. It's worlds better then the PS3 controller. Loving it, and it feels stable and light. Great controller.

C-Sword, I'll probably see you at Foonzo next week if you're down.

I hope the next generation of consoles supports current gen controllers. It scares me to think how much ive spent if they dont.

You won't need to have your PS3 controllers dual modded to use them on the 360 anymore, all you need is the Cronus USB Adapter.

That's bad ass! A little expensive IMO(for an adapter) but that would definitely come in handy at tournaments that only used 360.

I was planning on getting this stick for my birthday this week, I'm not trying to get a super expensive stick <_<.

Eh, I don't mind. Yea I lose the option of setting Macros, but I think I'll be better off not depending on them.
