What do you want NRS to work on next?

NRS already has trouble balancing their games.
You want them to try it with 40+ characters on one Roster?

That's true but I think game balance is more in the philosophy of the game development and how they go about common balance issues rather than the number of characters. Both are factors though. I'm not really expecting MK10 to be as balanced as I'd like. Every character in MK9 has something stupid. I've gotten a lot better at MK9 lately though, I've been playing it a ton. My Reptile will make your asshole pucker.

I just about lost it with this.:laugh::laugh:
You have won the Internet, good sir.
I can't give "Thanks" right now, but when I can, I will be sure to give it to you.

OT
35 to 40 characters for MK10 would be Ok with me.
If it means that they take a little bit longer to perfect it and get the balancing right, then so be it.
I'd rather them do it right, rather than them having to "fix everything through patches" or major nerfs and buffs, like they did with MK9.

I would love a zombie game similar to the Dead Rising series with various characters and scenarios. I'd also want combo weapons like the Sledge Saw from Dead Rising 3. Each boss fight should have more than 1 finishing move and it should depend on what the character is wielding too (it should be epic as the God of War series with certain buttons being pressed).

Outfits should be customizable.

I DON'T want it to be in first person perspective like in Dying Light.

I want the perspective to be like the ones in Dead Rising, Lollipop Chainsaw, and/or in the later Resident Evil games. First person view should only happen when shooting a gun and/or it can be a separate option.

Gameplay: Each character can punch, kick, and grapple in their own way. Each character will have a default weapon that will be with him/her at all times (like a pocket knife for example since most ppl carry knives these days). eaxh character will start off with an empty inventory (but will have the default weapon). Other items and weapons will need to be found and a lot of items can be combined to make powerful weapons. For example, let's say a female character starts her scenario after arriving from work and taking a shower. After that, she dries up and puts on her clothes as she hears people screaming. She peeps out the window and sees zombies tearing up her neighbor's flesh. She panics and gets the knife in her drawer, starting the gameplay. So during the gameplay, there is a cement saw and sledge hammer in the garage. Once she finds those items, she can combine them. Then there is a locked box she has in her room. So in order to see what's inside, she must get the key from somewhere around the house. Once she gets the key and unlocks the box, she gets her 45 caliber pistol with some ammo. In the medicine cabinet of her bathroom, she can grab a first aid kit in case she will get hurt along the way. Once she grabs all her items, she must go and find her other friends/loved ones and try to contact them with her cell phone (which she has as a default item that doesn't really need to be in the inventory and is used in various cutscenes only) and also rescuing them after they tell her that they need help. That's how the gameplay would work. I hope NRS would do something like this.

This game should be co-op ONLINE AND OFFLINE!

Each weapon would also have their own finishing moves depending on what buttons are pressed.

Environment can be used to kill enemies as well.

A versus mode where characters fight each other would be nice but the characters will be in separate locations and must find eachother in order to kill eachother. There would be zombies on the way too (with the option to disable having enemies during the battle).

NRS will likely do IGAU2. Meaning that we'll all have to wait Another 4 Years for MK11 :(

I sure hope they give another developer permission to make a non-canon MK something to branch that time with. Like have Monolith Productions make Shaolin Monks 2 or some other RPG set in the MK universe. But unfortunately, I think we'll be waiting another 4 years for MK11 while Ed Boon goes fanboying over DC again (The Flash in particular).

The only thing broken about Injustice is the lack of a Block Button. That was a MAJOR oversight on NRS's part, especially with Scorpion as a guest character (you literally had to hold FORWARD to block his teleport punch...and you wonder why MK has had a Block button since Day 1).

How about an MK game EVERY year, just like the good old days?

im fine with an mk game two years apart. 3 years not too bad but is still kinda long to wait. but by no means should there be an mk every year. no need to turn it into a COD or AC thing.

By your logic, the entire arcade era of MK is COD and AC. There was literally an MK release each year between 92 and 2000.

they only ever released a brand new mk game 2 back to back years once. that was mk1 and mk2. I wouldn't count that whole mk3-umk3-trilogy era. they pretty much just added to mk3. and what mk games were released in arcades in 1999 and 2000?

And console releases one year after the fact somehow don't count?

well im trying to point out that they didn't need to make a half assed game like special forces. it was a waste of development time and waste of money to make the game. I also don't see why they needed to make mk mythologies. I don't hear much praising done about that game. if those 2 games weren't made they could have had more time to make mk4 and mkda better.

It's worth pointing out that John Tobias, among other members of MK's development team, resigned from Midway during the development of MKSF. Had Tobias stayed, that game would've turned out far better than the end result we got. Midway probably should've pulled the plug on Special Forces, or at the very least gotten Ed Boon and John Vogel involved as soon as Tobias left.

As for Mythologies, that game served as not only backstory material for both of MK's foremost superstars, but also foreshadowed the events of MK4, which was in development at the same time. Mythologies clearly served its intended purpose. On top of that, Mythologies was the game that brought Quan Chi from one-off Defenders of the Realm villain to a fully canon Mortal Kombat character (and eventually a major villain rivaling even the likes of Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn on the hierarchy of MK villains).
