What do you think is the unknown mode of play?

Mortal Kombat Extreme Rollerball. Same MK battlegrounds and same game format as the movie, but with MK characters going at it. A lot of bloody fights will be going on in this sporting mini-game.

Well, i guess would be something like the trailler. everybody vs everybody or something like it. With MK: Shaolin Monks Engine, it is possible!

Tournament fighting, perhaps? Or maybe Shaolin Monks style versus, only in a larger environment (not by too much though) and with 4 people rather than 2. And of course more characters (Motaro would be difficult though)

Difficlut to beat or for them to add him to this game mode?

To add into the game mode. It could be done, it'd just be, kinda odd. Just the thought of doing aerial combos, or anything in general with him will be kinda odd (though cool).

Now that's something I didn't really take into consideration with Motaro. The new "Aerial Kombat" system. It would look kinda funny seeing a Centaurian being thrown around in mid air, eh? But then again, Onaga and Moloch are quite big even though they're both bipedal.

We'll see what happens...

Oh please, no more sports, hahaha.

I found this at MKOnline [few days old]

The main gripe we've had with Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and Deception were simply that they were both too shallow. Coming from fighting games such as Tekken and Virtua Fighter, the amount of depth featured in the combat system of both previous MK titles this generation was lackluster at best. However, sitting down with Boon gave us a new outlook on where he was coming from. Boon himself is an avid Tekken fan, and when he has leisure time, he plays Tekken. With Mortal Kombat (especially the last two titles in the series) Boon wanted to create a fighting game that was easy for anyone to just to pick up and play.

From Deadly Alliance to Deception, the series has remained geared toward novice fighting game fans, while still adding bits of depth here and there. Deception added Kombo Breakers and death traps on top of the existing Deadly Alliance fighting game engine. Armageddon picks up where Deception left off by adding aerial combat and a new parry to the fighting engine. The game will still feature the ability to pull off three Kombo Breakers per fight, but this time you can also use a parry. By pressing back and the block button when your opponent attacks, your character will parry the attack, leaving your opponent vulnerable. This should add a bit more strategy to the battles, and keep players on their toes.

While we're still eagerly awaiting the first next generation MK title (which we'll have information on shortly), MK: Armageddon is shaping up to be the must have MK title of this generation. The online play has been retained from Deception and remains unchanged, and there's a new mini-game that has replaced Puzzle and Chess Kombat. Unfortunately, Midway isn't ready to talk about it yet, but we'll have more on Armageddon and its secret mini-game before it releases in October.

This is the first we've heard of new information concerning a next-generation MK title; keep tuned here, for as soon as we hear something we'll pass it on!

Re: What do you think is the unknown mode of pl

I hope ????? ?????? is ARENA KOMBAT, I've been waiting for that since MK2.

That online as a multiplayer mode would be outstanding...

I think someone might have said it buy now but, mk kart.
The same small body and big head kombatants.Motoro wouldn't have a kart.
Stryker would have a cop car.Johnny Cage would have the super sexy convertable corvette.Goro'd be sittin' on a couple onis with something to hold on to, and a whip.Baraka in a chariot with a whip.Khan a motercycle with a skull on the front. So on so forth. every man for himself 8 per circuit
Each realm have a number of races...levels

Or

A konquest like mode.Where you start out as any of the mortal kombat 1 characters exept Tsung goro and rep...

and you walk from fight to fight. You fight yourself and everything. Then when you defeat tsung (old looking, new render)Tournament two startes then same thing all the way to arma. they'll just use new renders.Or another fight transfer method would be climbing up the picture colum at the portal and hopping into the picture of the person you're gonna fight next.Tha'd be cool.

mk football sounds awesome, picking 11 per team, kahn would be a linebacker and johnny cage the pussy kicker. kintaro goro onaga motato and moloch on the line. scorpion and subzero running slant patterns. the possibilities are endless, do alympics with hockey and basketball and baseball. id buy a game that just has mk sports. I could see it happening in the next ten years or so, just like mario did with all its sports games

No, just "NO" dude. No MK Football please. Next thing you know, we will be having more requests for MK Kart.

And who the hell is Motato? Is he related to Potato?

Lol, messin with ya, dude.

 Motato and Potato.... The next-gen Sub and Scorp.... Awesome :D

In all honesty, CT, I really think there could be something with at least MK Football... That'd at least make the most sense to me. Midway makes Blitz, if I'm not mistaken, and it'd be a sligth leap to incorporate MK skins and attribute to the Blitz franchise. Of course, if I'm wrong about this (which I may be... the last Blitz game I've ever played was on the N64), it would be nearly impossible. So the least I can do is dream... *imagines scorpion shoot his spear ten yards in front of him, and pulling Lui Kang back from a touchdown* *drool*.

MK Pinball would be both stupid and wouldn't really work for 8 player >.< But thats just my opinion

Now, super mega huge arena free for all, I would buy that by itself
