What do u guys think about sharing fatalites?

What I mean is each person has 2 of their own fatalities. Kung Lao has both his buzz saw and hat decap and body slice fatalities and maybe you just feel like ripping their heart out or ripping their leg off and knocking off their head with it. I think it could add more to the game instead of doing the same fatalities over and over again.

The ability for every combatant to finish off their opponent in a similar, generic way.

Keep them diverse.
I don't care if the end result is the same (Decapitated heads, arms, legs) just as long as there is some fire, ice, acid, or lightning in the process.
 
yea, i think i like it better with each character having their own fatality, even if it might be similar to another characters....

My philosophy? If it was something directly related to core gameplay (combat, fatalities, Kreate A Fighter, etc) that was implemented in a 3D MK, nuke it from orbit.
 
We already have those, they are called Stage Fatalities. All universal.

Other than the stage fatalities, nothing else (Fatalities, X-Ray, special moves) should be generic in MK 9.

You want generic fatalities?

Yeah, that's the exact reason I got (a Ps2 &) Armageddon again. It maintains my noob-ish KAF crap fatality needs. :)
 
I thought about buying MK: Armageddon until I found out about the generic fatality system....and sharing fatalities would seem generic like that. However, I wonder if Shang Tsung will have either the person's fatalities that he morphs into or have a fatality that morphs him into the other character and does one of their fatalities.

Does anyone know?
 
NRS took 20 years to finally develop a game in which uniqueness is the keyword, and you want SHARED FATALITIES???

Go back to your MKA and have fun with it.
 
Ya MKA got really boring really fast but i do think it would be cool to have a tag team fatalities instead of doing what ever fighter is out at that time
 
Fatalities that should be "shared" are the ones that should be done on boss characters since they are tall. I mean if Kitana did her fatality and it was time for her to decapitate a character like Onaga (NOT that he is confirmed), she would swipe his chest with her fan instead of the neck because of his tallness unlike how she would do to normal characters shere she'd slice them at the neck. So basically, all characters, including Kitana, should have one specific way of killing a boss character UNLESS creators are able to have characters' normal fatalities aim at the right places. i don't want anything like how it was in MKD where Mileena would bite Baraka's chest (since he's tall) when she's suppose to bite him at the face to bite off his head. If they fix those bugs, then we don't really need those "shared" fatalities.

Is that a serious question? Over the years the game has slowly developed from swapped characters to individualy unique n u want to share fatalities? Come on now!
