What about fatalities from POV perspective?

I believe true incentive to not lose would be controllers that hook in to you're brain and recreate the pain your character experiences during a fatality.
 
Yeah definitely intense. Imagine playing an online match and as one loses, they see the winner walking towards you for the kill. Yikes!!!


Or even with the use of "Project Morpheus".
 
Scorpion sets you on fire and you're engulfed in flames(Imagine this with this art team and graphics)so your character rolls around only to be stomped out by his boots in the face All in your pov ;)
 
How about I just kill myself if I lose and the other way around? That would offer some incentives and POV perspective for sure, especially with the kinect camera gaining popularity, we could see it happen before us, who knows what MK has store for us in the future.
