Variety Vs Consistency

My friends tell me i use the same combos over and over with mileena, But there not complaining about it. They ask me to mix it up with my combos. I have like 10-15 of them memorized to use at my disposal. But i would rather be consistent with my regular Air Punish BnB and regular BnB. But at the same time i want to add variety also.

My question to you is that should i stay consistent with regular BnBs and Air Punish BnBs. or Add variety?
 
Mk isn't a fashion show, if the combo does what it does better than the other combos then stick with it.. ;)
 
My bnbs with Mileena are all muscle memory...I might do the same combo twice then come with a different mix-up to throw my opponent off

Just stick to what u do best
 
Tell your friends to mix up their game that way you will change up your combos.. Lots of kombos aren't even worth it because if you can do another kombo with a higher damage output in the same situation then your obviously going to do the one that does more damage.
 
I like variety in my combos... actually I do it so much I'll probably only do the same combo once in a round.
I DO have bnb's, but I don't want to rely on them.
Hitting low with a slide then a juggle is the shit to me :cool:
 
Consistency...I'm more interested in getting the job done than impressing others. No point in risking fancy stuff if the reward doesn't exceed those of a simpler combo.
 
for me,variety. repetition gets boring for both the player and the opponent,
but there's 2 options.

online.. smash the dude with what ev you want. if its a random.
regular's will get bored of you.


offline, with mates.. you wanna have fun you know?
dont take it so seriously, try some new stuff,
see how good you are at applying your characters versatility.

Lol. Style points. Haven't heard that in a while I use to say that back when i played Combat arms with my team.

Yeah, I don't like to receive hate mail. When i do i all ways reply. TBH i shouldn't because its a waste of time.
 
I try to use different combos and come up with new strategies when I fight the cpu, but there's nothing wrong with using the same combos against other players, you do what you gotta do to win. If they can't block it and counter it, that's their problem.
 
Mileena has many different combo opportunities. But I do tend to go in favor with muscle memory.

Wanna talk about the SAME ASS COMBO, go fight a Shang, Sektor, or Ermac. The most boring fight ever.

But in Ranked or "serious" matches, you better believe you're seeing my 40+% bnb's over and over and over :laugh:

He's easy to fight because they all do the same exact thing.. Even the "Skilled" players.

Fail spin on wake up? Ball roll into BnB Quick 25% :)

Anti air spin? Air sais Saves me :D

I do my best to never use the same combo more than twice per match. I feel like an ass if I do more than that, plus it gets boring to do the same thing over and over again.
