Tremor or Cyber Smoke?

I new tremor probably wasn't gonna be dlc in the 1st place I'm betting on reiko or Tanya(I don't care for either tho) I just want Tremor and Chameleon in the next game or dlc in the next game...an I'll be happy.
 
Lol, I was joking but I saw a dudes avatar I liked very much, it was a brown cyborg with Jax-like arms. Looks pretty wicked but anyhow, I'd like Cyber Smoke AND the Ninja Tremor very much and the possibility of Cyber Tremor and any other Cyber form for the other Ninja (Cyber... Ermac, Reptile, Scorpion... Khameleon? hehe

As long as it looks cool and plays well I'm up for it.

But Cyb Smoke is a MUST have, he is an icon in the MK franchise.
 
New character over re-hash always. Smoke is great, I play as him a lot and I have not a great deal of interest in Tremor at the moment, but I'd rather see a totally new set of moves brought in the Smoke done slightly differently.
 
So Tom Brady confirmed Cyber Smoke to be an alt.
And Boon has declared no Tremor for the umpteenth time.


Oh well.
 
I don't know if this was said already, but I'll take him (Tremor) as long as he's treated like a brand new character, and his costume makes sense for his storyline. I know he used to be Lin Kuei and I know he's currently a Black Dragon, so use that. Give him ninja-like clothing elements, but show that he's ultimately abandoned that organization.

In my opinion, the less he looks like a full-blown ninja the better. In a game where each character is theoretically unique, there's no reason to have so many extremely similar characters design-wise. They've done a good job of homaging the original designs enough to keep the characters recognizable, but I think having yet another fighter with a veil or a ninja mask is pushing it.

If you have to have a covered mouth, I'll take a scarf or a cybernetic implement and be happy, but for my money, the more actual mouths I see on my Mortal Kombat characters (at least in their alternate costumes) the happier I am.

On another note, a lot of people have been joking about a Cyber Tremor. I'm all for it. That'd totally make sense to me, especially because he at least used to be Lin Kuei. People seem to gravitate toward making the ninjas into machines, but that makes next to zero sense, considering very few of the ninjas in MK are part of that organization. I thought personally that if they brought back Frost, I'd be down to see her reinvented as a machine.

but if those 2 are out of the picture that leaves us with........Rieko?...... **** that shit

You know, I wouldn't mind if Tremor was a Lin Qui who fell to the Black Dragon for the Cybernetic Implants, and he is getting more implants than a Plastic Surgeon addict.

THAT would be a cool character. Doesn't even have to be Tremor. In MK10, he could be mostly human (maybe an Arm and Leg as Robotic) and in MK11 he could totally be half robot, half man, with MK12 having him be almost completly robotic.

Rieko looks awesome, depending on how they do him.

He could totally rock a 2 handed energy sword like Khan's spears.
 
Ed Boon confirmed on his Twitter that Tremor will not be given the dlc treatment at least in MK9. Hopefully we will get to see Tremor in a game that isnt complete crap. (damn you MK Special Forces...)
 
I think Boon should reconsider DLC choices for now. These first 4 DLC: Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain and ??? were decided upon the release of the game. There will be most likely a new wave of DLC character in a few months, who knows at the end of the Fall?, and they will have to pick which characters they will work on.

I'd rather have new characters than characters from MK4-Armageddon be honest or characters left out from the original Trilogy such as Motaro, Chameleon, Khameleon, Tremor or even Hornbuckle (and Blaze).

What do you care if I react this way? I just only want to express my feelings bout what Ed is treating Tremor like a trash. Yeah it's a video game, and that is the reason why WE and YOU are here in this forum. WE ARE HERE TO TALK ABOUT IT.

Aside from RAIN, I don't see Ed Boon listening to the fans, as far as DLC goes.
Such a bull shitter.

He goes around saying "We listen to the fans for DLC suggestions," and then he goes on twitter and says "Lotta requests for Tremor. I think Tremor is the new Rain. Just like 40 is the new 30. Except Tremor ain't coming for DLC."
