I'm glad Boon is sticking to his guns by not giving in to fan demand and making Tremor DLC. Rain is enough. We need a company who cares about the fans, yes, which we have in NRS. But we also need a strong-willed game developer who is willing to move the MK series forward in the way that they want to, not us fans. Fan input is important, yes, considering we buy the game, but fans forget they are in charge, not us. They have to make strong decisions for the series on their own and not rely on us to shape their own franchise. There are so many other characters that deserve to be brought back other than Tremor, IMO. This certainly doesn't mean that there won't be an earth-controlling character in the future, though, in homage to Tremor, which I'd love to see. We just won't be getting that orange/brown Black Dragon ninja that many fans seems to hellbent on demanding Boon to bringing him back.

Having said this, I bet I'm gonna get -repped from all the Tremor fanboys because of me saying all this, but this is how I feel, so I don't really give a damn if you do or what you think.

You know I respect Ed Boon more than my teachers, but when I saw this tweet, I feel like I wanna punch him in his ^%$ face!

"RT @Sektor_Systems people r asking 4 tremoris there a reason Y U won't put him in? Noobde: Yes, cuz there are many more known MK characters."

This tweet hurt me, this tweet made me mad, This tweet boiled my blood to the highest LEVEL!! I can't believe how ED BOON treat Tremor like a TRASH a GARBAGE... He wants to focus on those less popular character(not like Tremor)... Why can't he just focus on those character who didn't make it or who are forgotten and buried through time?..

SUCK HIM!!!!

Oh my... seriously?? This is how you react?
I don't know how many video games you have developed, but I'm sure Boon knows a thing or two about making content for his own games. And remember... it's just a video game!
Grow up.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and there is much wisdom in what you have to say. While I would like to see Tremor return, I wouldn't want NRS adding someone they didn't feel would contribute anything to the series.

Nah, I'm kidding. You're an evil, evil man for having your own opinion. Conform, conform:twisted:!

Well that tweet+ Tom Brady comfirming that Cyber Smoke would be a *skin* both sides of us "fanboys" can let this thread die lol .

I now expect Reiko or Tanya to be the 4th...

I think Cyber Smoke will be an alternate of Smoke's outfit. Initially I was pissed they made Cyber Sub-Zero a whole new character, but now I think Sub-Zero and Cyber Sub-Zero will be two different entities.

Cyber Sub-Zero is the young brother, however Noob Saibot will most likely get purified by the soulnado and Sub-Zero, Bi-Han, will be back to his normal self. However Noob Saibot will live on as a different entity, created from the dark feelings of Bi-Han's. That way, we'll have the three characters untouched, even though Noob Saibot's name will be changed for simply Noob (as Boon had hinted before). I'll be very surprised if they don't follow this in the next MK.

That is why there's really no reason for Smoke to be a new different character. Do to him what they did to Cyrax and Sektor and I'm more than pleased.

CSZ died, if they revive him the most obvious form would be as a human since his soul is human and when they revive someone is like a "reborn" so he should be human again you do not born with metal parts on you, but I dont know NRS does weird stuff, I hope Kuai Liang returns to be human SZ and Bi Han stays as Noob, also Smoke should not be automated keep him as human, if NRS wants more cyborgs, then they should introduce new ones and stop turning actual characters into them.

Cyber Sub-Zero was in his zombie form in Netherrealm and NRS basically created a new character and I'll be surprised if they simply get rid of him permantely.

WTF?

'RIP My Briggs & Stratton wood chipper. That puff of grey smoke and the engine seizing while idling can't be a good sign.' - ?

Yea..he was quoted saying that a few weeks before Kenshi dropped. And I'm pretty sure we can consider Tom Brady as an "inside source".

Is just stupid that NRS dont release tremor inda future, that is sure bucks, not like skarlet.
These type of comments make me cringe, no offense to you. If they don't want to release Tremor, then that's their right. People forget that this is NRS' series, not MK. Nothing is "stupid" about them releasing Skarlet and not Tremor, especially since Tremor's only appearance wasn't even in a game made by Ed Boon. Don't diss other characters just because you don't like that a character you want as DLC isn't going to be DLC.

Why is there such dislike for Skarlet? She has a well rounded arsenal (I wish she had a few more button combos but ehh, Ill deal) and she is a blast to play? Is it a macho thing? I cant understand the whole hatred.

If that was meant to impress me, it absolutely failed. I don't want more mugen characters.. The people that make their robot/ninja clones have no creativity and I'm uninterested in seeing their ideas getting support by the REAL devs. I still think that Tremor OR Cyber Smoke would ruin all the anticipation I had for the fourth DLC slot.

Skarlet is ok, she didnt fill the expectatives and hype of most of the people. (I said most, not everyone)

Nah You wont get -rep I agree and understand with everything you are saying my hopes for Tremor are actually much higher for MK10 only because I feel if the fans demand him for the sequel then maybe they will give in and put him in even if it is just for one game....

Plus MK10 doesnt have to have a roster full of characters from the orginal Trilogy they can expand their roster and have much more diverse characters than ever before since they are moving foward which opens up plenty of doors for them to introduce several new characters and I believe Tremor atleast deserves a shot. No matter how much Boon doesnt seem to like him I did apprecaite the fact the he actually aknowleged him and is aware their is finally a higher demand for Tremor after all these years of naysayers

Even though I don't play her Skarlet is a very complete and unique character. New characters in this game aren't greeted with unanimous love unless they are easy to use. Kenshi was relatively more successful because a.he was a fan fav, and b.even though he's susceptible to a good rush, he has very devastating combos that are set up very easily (ala Ermac).

If you're a Skarlet fan I certainly wouldn't be angry about not being hugely popular...on the contrary I'd be ecstatic that a great character is flying under the radar, similar to my fav female Jade;). Easy to use characters will always be more popular than great characters w/a learning curve.
