liked the first one, the second one sucked but from what i read about the third one, ill give it another chance. cant be worse than the third spiderman right?

I agree with you concerning the transformers part, N°2 was too linear, no twist to the story and heavily predictable. But Spiderman 3 was not so bad, only flaw I noticed were Venom's fangs. since Venom is my marvel favorite character, I was excited to have him in the movie. Well ok there is also Eddy who don't fit as Venom. The actor is too thin and not enough muscular.

yeah spiderman 3 was okay. but it sucked that the that 70's show kid got eaten by venom and then his head was periodically regurgitated

personally the best movie was the animated one. I wish they would've stayed true to the source material. the movies were okay but kind of a disappointment. I really don't care for shia or megan fox regardless how fine she is, she should be seen and not heard. horrible acting mixed with horrible directing sprinkled with racial stereotypes. piss poor excuse for any movie. and this new one seem to follow that vein.

Spiderman 3 was an abomination.

Transformers 3 looks like... Well, a Michael Bay movie. The only thing missing from the trailer were huge explosions.

Honestly these movies, aside from the first, have completely tainted the entire Transformers franchise with Michael Bay's stupidity. Who cares? The second one sucked... the third one will probably suck too. There is only one real way Optimus Prime dies, and its not the way he did in the second one.... The 86 movie is 100 times better and will always be 100 times better than all of them.

Michael Bay should stick with his "Bad Boys" franchise and should be ready to accept that's the peak of his career (Mediocrity in its best) - past, present and future.
The Transformers franchise should've been putted in the hands of someone like Spielberg.

I agree. Transformers franchise would've been a whole lot better if it was directed by Steven Spielberg.

....so it turns out the movie was a lot better than expected. EASILY the best one of the series.

Saw it in 3D yesterday. The ending dragged a bit too long but it was still good and full of action.

Shockwave was ****ing INCREDIBLE, wow, but I was slightly disappointed at the minimal amount of Soundwave screen time. He has always been my favourite so I was ****ing ecstatic when they included him in part 2 (what a piece of shit movie, though) and was so glad they brought him back for DSOTM but he only gets like 60 seconds of screen time.....such ********....SOUNDWAVE RULES. Just listen to his orgasmic voice:



HOT

...and ****ing LASERBEAK was in it! That was super awesome.

Anyways, only other disappointment was that the very first thing you see is the new girl in her underwear and a dress shirt. I got excited because she was walking over to wake Shia up but then he took off the blanket and was still fully clothed.

I saw the movie last Friday and I enjoyed the movie. What I really enjoyed was the fact that they added some background info into the movie so newcomers won't feel so left out. On top of that, it's definitely a step up from the second one, which wasn't all that good in the first place (and it has nothing to do with Mudflap and Skids) since they got rid of most of the crude humor and actually put in some funny bits. And the only flaws that I saw in the movie is that they showed to much of the human characters, which I never cared for in the first place, and the new chick that they added to replace Megan Fox is basically and completely useless except for being something nice to look at. In other words, she's just there to be there. But other than that, I'd say it was a solid movie, especially with more towards the end. Don't worry about what the reviewers say, just enjoy the movie.
 
Saw Transformers: Dark of the Moon and it was f**king awesome. They really had a great storyline this time, and the special effects were incredible. Megan Fox was a huge slut, but I found Rosie genuinely cute and lovable. Shia was incredibly funny. Optimus beat complete ass as usual. Bumblebee was awesome too. I hate Sentinel Prime like I hate Hitler. And Megatron was a *****. This movie was completely enjoyable and I don't give a shit what the critics say. I find in extremely hard to criticize anything about this film. My verict: 10/10
 
I am not going to lie.. but I hated all the Michael Bay movies, even this one. There is only ONE good Transformers movie. It was made in 1986.
 
say what you will about micheal but the worst director in my mind is m. night shamilan. i will never forgive nor forget how badly he f*ucked up the last airbender movie.
 
Saw it today. I offered it a (really ****ing) low bar that I was pretty surprised it managed to clear. I hate to say it, but my expectations for Michael Bay movies might just be too low :laugh:
 
I saw it yesterday. I hated the way it ended so quickly TBH.

You would think that When Megatron started attacking Sentinel Prime, Optimus Prime, at the brink of death, would be grateful for his actions. I was hoping something would happen so Megatron is able to escape/fight another day as he always does in the cartoon series.

But no. Boom. Megatron dies. Boom. Sentinel dies. Optimus Prime stands there, talks about Earth being their new home, and ends right away. The scene didn't even change FFS.
I also walked into the movie and forgot about keeping an eye for John Turk. Fortunately he's hard to miss.
 
Despite what most critics said, I really enjoyed watching this movie and is so far the best summer blockbuster this year bar none. You gotta remember, you'r going to see a TRANSFORMERS movie, so don't expect a storyline on par with inception or characters that really move you. With that said, the story actually makes sense this time around unlike the second one and has more substance than the first movie. I actually cared when some characters died. I also thought the new girl had a much cuter appeal and was way more likeable than megan fox. The special effects and action were amazing and I was really blown away by a lot of the scenes (the skydiving one in particular), especially in 3d. I'm not someone who really likes 3d either.

I liked the first movie, hated the second and loved the third. I know it's not for everyone but if you even some what enjoyed the others, this one is def worth checking out. If not, then it won't change your opinion. Don't listen to the blatantly negative critics cause its not their style of movie and they won't give it a fair review. I dont know how some even say the special effects were bad when they were actually the best I've ever seen. Just because my grandpop hates rock music doesn't mean it's bad. Just go see it and form an opinion on your own.
