This is so stupid!

Konquest was easy.
I am little disappoint about this, I want the longer konquest like MKD.
But after all the Konquest is too short to beat.

Do you all agree with me?

yes deceptions konquest was alot better, and the style of it made it take a long time to complete. Armageddons was too narrow pathed, which made it short.

hopefully all will be set straight with the next game. Next gen platform = tons more memory = no cut corners. They'll have the room to make MK8 as big as MKDA, MKD, and MKA put together, and STILL have room left over for stuff. So I dont think there will be any thing considered too little or too short next time. Unless they just simply dont take the time to do something.

As far as the two Konquest modes....i like them both. I like the style and gameplay of deceptions konquest, but i like armageddon's story much more. But yea, next MK needs to have a fully roamable konquest like deception. I liked having to search for HOURS to find special items, rather than just "go here, there it is, no waiting, no searching. it's there, all day every day forever and ever."

Also, if i was Ed Boon i would make it longer like doing alot of sidemission, award mission and etc..., but i would make the MKA better. Oh yea, What happen to Shang Tsung Shao Kahn, Onaga, Quan Chi at the part when you get to fight raiden and they should con. on more arena after beat his own brother and reach BLAZE.

And i suggest them, that at the part where you get to fight raiden and con. to find Quan Chi, killed him then scorpion then Shang Tsung then Shao Kahn, then ONAGA, and at last BLAZE.

Short yes. Amazing? Also yes. Perfect gameplay. Perfect story (unlike the plot holes of MKD's konquest). Perfect game. It could have done with another hour or two of gameplay but what there was of it was amazing.

beaten konquest twice so far and it was far easier the second time round killed blaze on the 3rd attempt as opposed to the 1 billionth ;) so I can see myself getting sick of it soon enough but right now i'm enjoying it. I did like deception konquest up until the point when my completed profile wiped itself and i didnt have the time or patience to go through it all again. But I like the free roaming of MKD konquest and I liked the elements brought over from SM in MKA konquest so I'm kind of split over this.

I got all the Relics when I first played Konquest with the help of Pats guide.
The thing I liked about MKD Konquest mode was that you didn't have to start all over again when you finished and that there was a purpose to keep playing after you finish since some unlockables are only available only after konquest.

I know that it's old news now, but didn't Ed Boon state on more than one occassion that the Konquest in MKA would be much more indepth, take much longer to complete, and be a better and more expansive rounded game unto itself overall? From what I've been reading form members who've completed this mode more than a few times, it sounds like Boon didn't deliver on all fronts. I'm seeing that some people say that the game is way too linear and you can't backtrack. That's a bit silly, isn't it? I actually completed Konquest in MKD, and found it ok. Why take a step backwards from that game, and then claim that it's superior to its predecessor?

Hmm...

It took me three or four play throughs until I got all the relics. I didnt want to use the guides until I was absolutely sure that I'd need it. So I got 58 of them, and then I was stuck, I had to use the guide. They were Sonya's ID and Liu Kangs armbands. I know I never would have found the armbands without the guide, those were hidden very well.

It was not longer but it was definitely more in depth than MKD's konquest Chief. When you think about it, MKD's konquest was VERY bare boned. You run around and get into fights. ALOT. It was basically a suped up version of DA's konquest but instead of having to just sit there between trainings you would run from training to training. Nothing to it. MKA's konquest is definitely more rounded even if it isn't more expansive.

It would be great if they could combine the two. Give you free roaming and let you talk to people like in MKD. You know, complete side missions and shit like that. But also have a distinct story and an ingame fighting mechanic (instead of just alot of running...). But what you're asking for is very difficult to do storywise. Shujinko already explored all the realms in MKD's konquest so what more can you possibly include hmm? When you can answer that question then you can ***** to the MK team with some substance.

Let's just say I'm varry thankfull for the question mark. I can't play this myself, so I need another way to get taht arena and four characters only available there. As for which one's better, I'm torn betwene the two. I like the one in Deception for the freeplay when completed among other things. On the other hand, MKA is way deeper.

That's nuckin futs. That's not gameply. That's just a total waste of my time. The only reason I played either konquest mode was to unlock things for the fighting game which is the only part that should be important to Midway.

MKD konquest was ONE BIG training thing. Sure you unlock a lot of stuff. But I dont want to be stuck on Kensi's training for a dang week. Which I was. I think training should be optional. And not a major MUST like this was.

While I would have prefered the open area Konquest of MKD, the MKA version wasn't that bad. If it wasn't so short, then I would have enjoyed it more. I only needed to beat it twice; one just to go through it, and the other to get all relics.

Konquest wasn't the point of the game. Although they did advertise to be like Shaolin Monks, it was still very bad compared to it.

Well MKSM did take up an entire disc. I don't think you people are taking space into account. They did put ALOT of characters into the game as well as more arenas and a whole Konquest engine that was more complex than MKD's. I'm sure that kind of thing eats up disc space like nothing else. I think that if they had left out Motor Kombat they could have expanded alot, but they didn't.

There's always more of everything. Otherwise, why would there be an MK8? Well DUURR...
