Did anyone ever find out what those 4 colored keys do in the first part of Konquest and the key in the Netherrealm, I remember there was a bunch of ish when the game first came out that nobody could find out, like the ninja star too and how you get knocked da **** out by that dude in the first part lol.
 
who knows, i mean deception is one of the most secret-packed games in the entire series, right behind shaolin monks. Just cause we've never found a use doesn't mean it's not there. what i wanna know is what would happen if you played konquest, but forgot to unlock the kenshi chest in the village, and had no way to unlock him since you can't go back inside the village. i wonder if there is a way to go back in there? of course we have to take into account that certain things only turn up in that game at an exact location at an exact time in an exact realm. so that really stretches the bar of trying to find every secret.
 
Boon (or someone else from the MK team) already stated back when the game came out that if you missed an object in the village, it'd turn up elsewhere in Earthrealm. We had huge discussions about this at the time and whether or not it was possible to get back into the village, but regardless of its possibility, you don't need to.

Sure, you can say it's not impossible that there are still things left to be found and unlocked in the game, but I think it's a pretty safe bet that all there is to find in the game has been discovered. As improbable as it seems to have found every object in the game, including items that can only be found on certain dates at certain times, and as sure as the team was that we'd still be unlocking things for months afterwards, the fact remains that the MK community still found just about everything within a week of the release.

True but come on, remember some of the chests only appeared for like 2 seconds at the very exact location? And back in MK2 some of the secrets didn't come out for like 4 years.
 
You can't compare the way things are today with the way it was when MK2 came out. Back then the only way we found out about these things was through word of mouth and game magazines. There was (practically) no internet. That makes a huge difference. Then again, I can't even imagine what you're referring in MK2 to that we didn't discover until about 1997; I think you're exaggerating just a tad there.
 
Dude, why so serious? I told you how to get back into the village. Have you even tried? When you do you'll be pleasantly suprised. It's awesome.
