Late August is when it is coming out. We are gonna get the Mkast for it in the near future, prolly sometime late next week. Rigo Cortes said on his twitter late August for release and is currently editing the MKast for it.

So if the MKAST is in progress i highly doubt that the game will be delayed. I agree with craftycheese.
 
I find it a bit strange though how they haven't CONFIRMED the release date yet. Im thinking twice now about whether its going TBD or not.
 
That is what I am saying. Rigo is starting to get bombarded on twitter over this subject matter. If its ready to go they would release a date. Could it be a rights issue over who owns the original games after midway purchase? prob not..and i dont need a video preview for a arcade game. I just don't understand why they haven't given us a simple date, in other news, my gamestop store said the klassic stick ships out aug 26th. so wtf knows

my guess is that its out on 30/08/11 at the earliest then, screw it lets start an aimless boycott thread if we don't get it then or sooner we wont buy it lololol
 
I think they probably have non disclosure agreements in place where nothing can be announced until a certain date. The MK1 arcade stick has a release date for the end of August, so I can't imagine the MKAK will be out later than that.
 
The game was playable at Comic Con. It's simply a collection of 20 year old ports. I don't see why it would be delayed. There are no legal issues.... WB owns Mortal Kombat. Midway does not exist anymore. I do agree that it's odd we don't have a firm release date quite yet, but I believe it will be announced in the MKast this Friday.

I'm talking about legal issues as in certain outlets have priority/exclusive rights to breaking the news. Not sure if that would be the case here, but it seems to be the status quo in gaming these days.
 
Well we have just over a week until the joystick is meant to be released. Im sure that by friday coming. we will have the release date for the MKAK. Then we can all wait together :D
 
it should not it's already finished we saw it was on comic con and I doubt marketing could take that long for an arcade game

Gamestop has a new date for the sticks.
Acoording to their website and store, checked with my brother who works there, it is supposedly coming out Thursday, the 25th of this month.

I find it odd that its a Thursday
 
THIS guy claimss he has "Underground Sources" and says it arrives September 21st or 23rd. So now (if legit, i doubt.. we have 4 dates lol wtf is going on???)
