I agree with you Hitman. I think they were kinda like the tag team version of the Ultimate Warrior. Their wrestling was'nt up to much but their gimmick made them mega stars!

According to Vince McMahon Stone Cold was the biggest star in wrestling history, and drew more money than any other wrestler including Hogan!
I find this quite shocking. What are your thoughts on this? :?

I can easily believe that he drew more money than any other wrestler, but I dont think hes the greatest wrestler in history, although Id say hes in the top 5 or 10. Of course to me Undertaker is the biggest star in wrestling history.

You Guys Are Right.

I agree with the post claiming that Austin had " Shock Value " thats what he was all about, that is true. In regards to the Rattlesnake being the biggest Money Maker in WWE history that is fact. I mean, if you have any tapes during the Attitude era, from 1998 - 2001 check out the massive crowds, and look at how many of them are wearing 3:16 shirts, it's amazing. Thank you all for your words, I enjoy me time here you guys do know a lot about wrestling so I feel that I fit right in :) . Now I have been a wrestling fan since 1992, when Hulkamania was running wild, and I have seen my fair share of amazing superstars ( Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Owen Hart, Triple H, The Rock, ect) And, not from a wrestling stand point, but from an entertainment stand point, the Rattlesnake entertained me like no other. Now, I know this may sound weird, but let's just say that Stone Cold was not around during the attitude era, whose to say that the WWE would even be around today? Now, I'm not claiming that one man, beat an entire company by himself, but he sure helped. Back, when wcw was getting huge ratings, WWF took it up a notch, with the Boss vs. The Superstar and that brought the fans in big time. I have been a Stone Cold Fanatic for a while, and I know you all don't agree with me, and thats fine, I'm glad I now know where you all stand. In today's wrestling world, you have to many young stars getting pushes they don't deserve yet. In, my opinion someone who deserves a World Title Shot is Christian, hands down. That man has wokred his ass off for WWE for over eight years now, and he is the complete package. Christian is cunning, and clever on the microphone, he plays the heel to a tee, and he is a good wrestler. WWE listen up, instead of putting the title on a good wrestler ( Orton, soon Batista) why not put it on someone who has worked so hard, that truley deserves it? Now, I know I got a little off topic there, so I will return to what I was saying. I for one miss the Attitude Era, as I'm sure you all are aware. It's just I remember the times when I would tune in, and actually be suprised, and eager to watch. Now adays everything is so wattered down, it's not as fun any more. The wwe focuses to much on the main, and only the main event. Thanks for letting me express myself guys, I enjoy it.

Kerry wuz pretty cool IMO. The only thing different about Batty is that he going to win without a shadow of a doubt. Kerry looked like a horse, so I'd say Batty looks like a mole on the juice.

Now that I think about it, he does!

You guys are sick.. sorry if you all flame me, then go for it. But, it's very low of you to speak of women as if they're objects for your pitiful little fantasies and pleasure. Women are people too, and more of a person then most men. Guys today are total jerks. Really, it's true. Think about it, they're only in for a relationship for a blowjob and some sex.. go masturbate to the golden girls, fonzi.

I could imagine a big group of gays Cheering Randy and rubbing themselves when Randy officialy announced his passion for men by RKO'ing one of Raw's finest.

Coming from a guy who's soon to be married, your right... absolutely. Although, you have to realize that women are nastier than men. Believe me. Women hide their emotions and wants, but I think any man will tell you that if you get them started... OMG.

Everything you said was true. To be very honest IMO, the WWE would not still be on basic cable if it wasn't for the Austin Era. The only thing I had against Austin was that I blamed all of the changes of the Attitude Era on him. I had been a fan since I was a wee little lad of the WWE, and it upset me to see some of my favorite superstars get pushed to the side. I remember watching Monday Night Raw's with my dad on a weekly basis as I got older, and that... well that was about the only time we bonded. When the company started changing, my dad and I began to be disgusted by some of the content of the show. When I look back at it, it really wasn't a big deal compared to many other things in life, but it still took away what I held special in my heart, which was watching Raw with my father.

Actually Stone Cold did pretty beat WCW on his own, he was the biggest draw back then and was the person that saved WWF from going out of business, that and Mick Foley winning the WWF Title. If you watch the WWE video about the Monday night war it tells alot about it, WCW actually screwed themselves by telling their audience about what was gonna happen on Raw before it happened.

I think the thing that holds TNA back the most is its awkard scheduling. It seems hard to catch on satellite other than PPV's. The 6 sided ring sorta freaks me out too. Originality points tho!
