You have to be kidding me! Do you not remember Stunning Steve Austin, The Ringmaster or even as Stone Cold he stole the show at Wrestlemania 13 against Bret Hart in the "I Quit" match. Stone Cold could wrestle very well. But for main event purposes WWF/E made him use a brawler style to get over, which worked very well! Also the injury that he suffered at the hands of Owen Hart limited him in the technical department forever! The Hitman said:One of these days the world will get over Austin and realize that he never was much of a "wrestler", but just a talker and an amazing beer can catcher.

Sub Zero's Brother said:Ok, I kind of understand your statement, claiming that the Rattlesnake was never really " A Wrestler" but you have to understand that was part of his Gimmick. I mean did anyone want to see the Rattlesnake, come out and get guys in armbars? No, we wanted to see him whoop ass, and raise hell every single night. If you knew anything about the Rattlesnake, you would have known, that the man could wrestle. Have you ever seen, any of his Wcw matches? The only reason, Austin never really became a tactical wrestler, was because of the Character he played. Now, when I heard you say that, it made me think, what do you call the current day wrestlers? If Stone Cold was not a " wrestler " then what do you call Batista? At least the Rattlesnake was entertaining, and he brought something new to the table. I'm a huge Austin, fan and when I hear people trying to bring him down, it really angers me, because I bet back in 1998, when Steve was the biggest name in all of wrestling you were on the bandwaggon then. I'm sure a lot of peeps are trying to claim, that that Austin is washed up in the wrestling world, but that's how a lot of people are. One, moment cheering for a guy, the next jumping off the wagon. Well, not me. I have been a Austin fan since his Wcw days, and I still like the rattlesnake just as I did so long ago.
Actually, it's great and all that your a Austin freak... it really is... but listen here sonny. I've never been on the Austin bandwagon. Austin had some talent, I'll give you that. Hell, to nowadays standards, he had loads of talent. But the man was all about SHOCK VALUE. The whole, "What can we do crazy today?" thingy. Forget about it. He's done. Toasty actually. :twisted:Sub Zero's Brother said:
