The next logical step

Actually the controller is the only reason I have never approached or even though of playing Xbox. It is very big and I feel as if I have to cock out my wrists too much to use it.
 
The original Xbox controller was breathtakingly uncomfortable due simply to it's size. But later Xbox 1 controller and Xbox 360 controllers are smaller and more form fitting than the PS2 controller. The PS controller to me just feels boxy and difficult to grasp properly.

I've been saying for years that SOMEBODY should make a line of alternative controllers for all consoles. Make different button layouts or relocate the joystick for people that like the Xbox or PS controllers on the PS and Xbox controller respectively. They would have at least one customer in me that's for sure.

Yeah the orginal "Big Bertha's" lol, as i called them were flat out terrible, but the "S" design or whatever it was called was a great change, and the 360 pad took it too another level. I cant imagine playing games such as shooters, etc with any other pad....

That would be a GREAT idea. I'd love to play Resistance: FOM with a 360 pad, while I wish I could play damn near any fighting game with a Dual Shock 2 or 3. Each pad is great for certain things while also terrible for certain other things, lol. (if that makes any sense) And I wont get started about arcade sticks....thats a whole other topic, lol. :)
 
I honestly like Nintendo and Xbox, I'm what you call an oldschool, hardcore Nintendo fan and Xbox fan because of the online play with games like MK, BO and in general. I'm not so fond of Sony lol. Never have been honestly in the console market. I don't mean to offend any Sony fans here, I just don't like their arrogance at times and the fact that they bite off their competitors when it comes to ideas like the Market place off xbox and now motion sensor thing they plan to have (which Nintendo had first as the standard with Wii) analog sticks etc from back....and the fact that all their controllers look virtually the same. I'm a fan for variety I'm not going to lie, perhaps that's another reason I like Nintendo and Xbox. They alter their controls a little bit from genre to genre.

The thing I love about the Wii for me and IMO, it's 100% BC and can play all GC games. Such a big help, as oppose to Sony and Xbox that's not fully BC. To me it's a bit of an inconvienence : (

Games like Wii sports, Rayman, Mario games etc, etc are so much fun to play with the wii remotes for me anyway I know everyones different as well as having the option for GC games to play with that or Classic in some cases, some Wii games even offer you all control options like Mario Kart, MKA, Some older games VC/Wii Ware and SSBB etc

And the reason I love Xbox is because of the awesome online play, that's the main reason I got one. To play some of my fav games online. Not too big on the FPS "trend" though with Xbox, I also have a huge beef with the D-pad on the 360 which IMO sucks donkey for fighting games....I hear they're getting a new one redone(finally lol)

PS2 I tried and absolutely hated it....I gave it a chance but just got annoyed at the comparison. Freezing games, taking forever to load, shitty online play....arrghhh I just didn't like it honestly. I simply enjoy Nintendo and Xbox more.

As for portables, I love my DS. Was never a big PSP guy.
