Any idea if The Krypt is being brought back in MKX or not? I haven't exactly been present in the past year here so I don't know if this was talked about by the old man himself or not.
 
I think he never said anything about it. But it would be awesome, i loved gaining the gold, saphire, ruby, jade, onyx and platinum koins.
 
The krypt is such a good way to unlock things. It makes getting gold worth it.
I hope it comes back for MKX. I'd like to see it again, without the screamers. Lol.
 
Id love to see it return. Would be interesting to see if they used the faction system in the koin earning.
 
Its been in every game since Deadly Alliance sans MK vs. DC but no one gives a shit about that game anyways. I cant see it not being back unless they change the name

Lol, I know. I hope to see the Nekropolis back too for where we should check for the Concept Art and the Extras.
 
I hope they include more concept art. Injustice had like 20 different concepts and drawing for each character. It was really interesting. Also ed boon's fatality stick drawing were really cool to look at.

I also want to have different colors for each character sf4 style.
 
Yeah, I remember him saying something about the Krypt.

I'm sure it'll return in MKX. Its become kind of a big thing within the series at this point. I just hope they do a better job of it than they did with MK9. While the layout and concept was interesting, the unlockable content was garbage.

I agree 100%
Maybe 1/5th of the rewards I got from that krypt were things that no one would be interested in, or things that are pretty basic and rushed.
I'm hoping that an MKX krypt will bring back the jokes, especially the kind in MKDA.
(Cooking with Scorpion, all of the fake MK Ads like Shang Tsungs shoe souls, etc..)

Hahaha, well, I don't like jump scares either, so I vote for this as well. :P
However, I found a way to avoid it, if you just want to unlock everything anyways. You just had to go back to the full map after every time you unlocked something, because it automatically goes to the next locked thing when you click on an area. And that way the screamer never pops up... it at least never did so for me.

Oh I figured that out the 3rd playthrough.
Doesn't matter. I loved to look at the graphics and I couldn't do that whenever I thought it was about to appear when I'm up-close and personal with the TV.
 
Bring back the krypt monster! There's people who avoided the krypt entirely just because of the jump scare.
And I think that's hilarious.
