I will agree and say Ivy's chest area need to be a little smaller thats just too much and yes there is such thing too much boobage
I honestly think, I've said this before, people need to take this for what it is. It's a video game. Pixes and programming code. As many have stated... the massive amount of violence is okay but the way the women dress isn't? Give me a break.
I'll be honest. I don't like the way Mileena is dressed.. and Sonya's attire doesn't really fit for what she is... however.. it is a video game.
True story, man. It's not meant to be analyzed, really. They're just characters in a video game. This is the same reason why I hate celebrities because everybody pays so much attention to what they're wearing rather than what they're doing.
Ugh, and I didn't even post a picture of her posterior. It's even worse. Eeeeew. Point made that MK isn't the only fighting game with scantily clad women. It just seems to be the game that gets the most crap for it.

Gross.
Yeah, in fact, in the US website for MvC 3, her entire body was cut out except her head and right hand, for censorship standards. Even in the game's intro, her body is covered most of the time. And the same thing may have applied to Mileena, as she's not shown in the TV spot trailer, except for 0:20 of the trailer were that may have been her silhouette.I think Felicia pretty much beats everyone, lol.
I think you guys are comparing apples to oranges.
I mean, in games like let's say Darkstalkers for instance, characters like Morrigan, Lilith, and Felicia all use their sexuality as a major part of the game. They dress sexy, they move sexy, it's all part of that Japanese anime fantasy thing.
I never really thought that about MK. Who is the sexiest character? Let's say Mileena. If you think she is sexy, I think you're missing the joke. She dresses sexy, she moves sexy, but the joke is, her face is hideous. I fail to see how any woman whose face is covered with a ninja mask could ever qualify as sexy regardless of how the artists draw her body. For sex appeal, look to games like Dead or Alive. That's how you do sexy when that is in fact what you are trying to do.
For MK, it's a non-issue. I'd take more offense by Jax being portrayed as the stereotypical jive talking African American than I ever would the sex appeal of mostly non-humanoid female characters.
As for the original point of the post, I don't think the movie guy was being passive aggressive at all. I think what he was trying to say is that we're talking about a game where ripping out spines, chopping off arms, and chopping off heads is the norm. So when that's the case, it seems pretty silly to start splitting hairs over what revealing costumes the women are wearing, doesn't it? It's true, our beloved game is sleazy. It's supposed to be. It's a caricature of violence, and to a lesser degree, sex.
The only valid argument I would make is why don't the men's johnsons and nuts bounce all over the place when they fight? The logical argument would be that any man entering battle would be wearing a jockstrap or other restraint device. That begs the question, why aren't the women wearing sports bras?

Agreed....
+1.
Mileena is supposed to be like that, Sheeva gets a by because she is Amazonian/not human. The rest of them have no excuse:
Sindel? She's a queen, supposed to look Regal and commanding.
Kitana? She's a princess, and never struck me as a spoiled brat. She should be wearing more.
Jade? About the most modest of the bunch, and, as we all know from that one thread, the most sexy in the game. Odd, that.
Sonya? I would love to see a Special Forces Chick fight in what are basically Floaties.....
It's not going to ruin the game for me, but still....
Ill kill you in MK like nothing.
