the ending of MK:SM

I don't know. Something that grabbed me when I saw a recorded clip of it... Q-chi walks over and picks up the Amulet... How could anyone miss that?

Well the place it he picked it up was about where Liu and Kung Loa were standing... I think Raiden walked over it too but its hard to tell. My rectionto the ending when I saw that was 'huh?' because it doesn't make sense.

And now I think everyone fighting for the Earth Realm is blind...

Yeah I know. But you have to understand Raiden has blurry eyes (electricity is blurry) Lui Kang's head band slipped down, and Kung Lao's hat must have been a tad too low ;) . For the random towns people near it, there must have been a plague that affected their eyes. Oh well.

The only other thoery I could up with was Raiden put it there before/as he walked to the others... but why would he do that.

anyway weren't those people who were cheering stand at the arena i meen there's like 500 people and if no one saw quan chi then its too wierd.

well, there was alot of rubble that could cover or hide the amulet, Quan chi probably got lucky... It's easy to miss.
Also, almost immediately after quan chi found the amulet the ending movie ended. That doesn't give much time for any one to react. But where did the amulet come from... Shoa kahn???????

I know they said forget about MKM:SZ, but theres forgetting about it and forgetting it even exsisted. The story in MK:SM overwrites that storyline it seems now. :(

The next MK adventure game is about MK4 (supposdelly)... I wonder how they'll explain Fujin who guarded the amulet now...

I believe Boon commented on that whole thing, saying something along the lines of "that's not necessarily the first or only time Quan Chi's gotten the amulet, nor was that necessarily the real amulet". So that's his catch-all attempt at covering the enormous plotholes he's always leaving us with.

confirmed, i read it on the fight night sheet.

I don't care what they say, this new version of events is rubbish. MKM had a perfectly good storyline (one of my favorites in the MK series actually). Quan-Chi was wearing different clothes too. Totally off key. Even if they want to forget MKM or MK4 they can't just disregard facts from BOTH games now can they? I mean it just doesn't make sense for Kahn to have the ammy at all. Anybody else agree?

well the dragon king had the amulet, right? When Shao Kahn 'took care' of onaga he probably took the amulet. What else would he do with it. Then when he is finnaly defeated. Quan chi found it. But then how did quan chi get it the first time when shao kahn had it? Mythologies: sub-zero was a couple years before the first mk tournament. Well keep in mind, there could be fakes. Nothing is for sure.

Maybe Kahn made the fake one for Q-Chi and was hanging onto it until the right time to give it to him... Or something like that...? I don't know... I'm fishing for guppies instead of Trout right now... :(

Well, if the next game is on MK4 they have all the time in the world to explain things. Because thats when the real amulet finally is shown.

Onaga didn't have the amulet did he? I thought the whole point of MK:D Konquest was that he was LOOKING for the 7 required artifacts. Shinnok was the original owner of the amulet, and that was during the time Onaga reigned, since the MK:M story took place just a short while before MK1 that would mean that Kahn was already in power thus the amulet couldn't have been with him.

I'm guessing fake again.

Wow... Q-chi must like spend his entire spare time making fake amulets...

Or you could just go with the fact that MK:SM's ending rewrites half of the Mortal Kombat universe. There are too many plot holes to even dream of filling in. If you ask me, I think MK:SM's story should be scrapped, and it should be played for entertainment value only. If you look at it, the MK:SM storyline contradicts things in MK:M, MK4, MK:DA, MK:D, the whole shebang. Every single theory somehow clashes with one of those storylines and that's veritably HALF of the mortal kombat series! I say just scrap MK:SM and continue the story from where MK:D left off.

She got it from MK:M or Mortal Kombat Mythologies. It was about sub-zeros brother (the SZ from the first MK) and how Quan Chi had told him to get the amulet for Shinnok. Fujin was one of the guards guarding the Amulet, along with the earth, fire, and water god. he was then put in MK4 and it was explained he was the god of wind and he had guarded the amulet.
