The DLC Thread

I actually doubt Rain is going to be DLC.
But I DO think Cyber Smoke has more chances. I was very disappointed by Cyber Sub-Zero, so I guess they will make Cyber Smoke copypaste other character's special moves too, I guess it's fine, I just wished for once MK would let go of that shit. Enough of giving the very same special moves to several characters. Anyway, since human Smoke was also one of biggest disappointments in terms of design, I'm sure Cyber Smoke will look cool.

You're an idiot if u think Rain wont be DLC. Boon said the msot requested kharacters will dertermine who comes as DLC and everyone knows that ppl wont stop *****ing about Rain not being in the game. Even Boon tweeted saying surprised no one mentioned Rain today. Why were you upset about Cyber Sub Zero, I thought he was awesome
 
Rain and Skarlett are the only DLC characters I care about. Lets hope Rain gets confirmed as well. I'd also like to see some stages with fatalities like the Kombat Tomb and a classic fatality pack. Fatalities should include soul steal, kiss of death and acid bath.
 
Let us get our grubby little hands on the Klassic costumes via DLC. (I know Noob's, Reptiles', Smokes', and Jades' should be unlockable in the Krypt. I read about it some where...)

LOL Rain is actually MY favourite character so thanks for calling me "idiotic" about that.
I only said that because Boon already showed dispise towards Rain and he doesn't even think Rain is important.
LOL The same Boon who actually tweeted asking someone why is Rain so important for DLC when you'll have Kenshi was surprised no-one mentioned Rain? ;) Do you even read Boon's tweets, look for that one.
I sure hope Rain is DLC but he wasn't in MK9, he isn't even in the first patch of DLC characters, he's clearly being treated like he's no big deal for MK Team.

Plus, Cyber Sub-Zero's idea was poorly executed, there was no reason for him to exist in the first place and his gameplay is just a combination of several character's moves. Enough of copycats. Why did they even give the very exact Cyrax's teleportation and Kung Lao's diving kick to Cyber Sub-Zero? Was it even necessary? He has nearly 8 special moves when most characters in MK9 have 4-5. They clearly tried too hard to force people to like him and they failed miserably.

He will be in cuz they know how highly requested he is and WB is all about money and they will make good money off Rain, so he will DEFINATELY be in, GUARANTEE
 
I would like to see some ninjas from scorpions klan! **** the lin kuei! those guys are *******s, I think every single one of them is a jerk(besides cyrax, he seemed to be the only one with a heart), and I don't like how some are considered good guys.
 
I ask a lot but i would like and buy for sure as dlc Rain, Reiko, unmasked Sub Zero, Kenshi, Frost, Fujin, Chameleon, Black costume with Swat helmet for Stryker, human reptile and i would like to see what netherrealm studio could do with Mavado/Jarek and Kobra in this engine
 
I would like to see more alternate costumes for everyone and also bringing back brutalities. This game will do so well with those.

Give me more female characters most notably TANYA!!!!!

for new characters I agree with the 2 already named Skarlett and kenshi aswell as Tanya, Fujin, Shinook, Rain, Bo Rai-cho, Motaro, Robo-Smoke, Cyber-Shao Kahn (alt)

Arenas - Lin Keui Temple / The Portal / Blue Portal / Palace Gates / Kombat Tomb / Wu-Shi Academy / Pit 3 / Volacinc Arena (Cave) / The Balcony + Noobs Dorfen (same but different perspective / The Nethership / Ying Yang Island / Falling Cliffs / Waterfront / Quan Chi's Fortess / Reptiles Lair / Sky temple and Grand Palace of Edenia

Option to choose special attributes on or off on arena's included in game for instance hell and the hands garabbing at players feet or the pit day with meteor storm avoiding projectiles

Stage fatalities for the Bell Tower and the Rooftop

Character Vignettes for all characters

menu screen theme change for Arcade style set-up with Video Cinematics and stats / leaderboards and gameplay demo looping oh and new menu screen music please I do not like this track it does not feel like the game

All Test your games Vs mode local Might / Strike split screen Sight same screen (only really challenging ones)

Boss Battle Only Mode.... Goro, Kintaro, Shao Kahn, Moraro - 1 Vs 1 and Tag Local and online

More Mortal Kombat.... Really like the gameplay this game is really good still a few bugs but no gamebreaker, it will all get fixed up and is only minor stuff that is what makes this game the gameplay is brilliant
 
I would just like them to fix some minor stuff that is going on with the game, like some audio stuff that is off.
Sometimes after "Retry" is picked it stays in the same screen for a couple of seconds then it goes to the screen.
The damage bar sometimes doesn't keep up and is delayed.
Just little things like that, they're not a big deal but it would be nice to see them fixed.

for sure fix stuff first but I want them to keep this game alive by adding new modes and gameplay so after 3 months you will want somthing new

I agree.. Rain feels so left out :( I tweeted ed boon myself about Rain like 51616165 times and one of his replies was like 'how can you be so sure of our DLC plans?' cause I mentioned kenshi and skarlet being the first two and Rain not even being in the first DLC batch.. then again it feels like he's left out indeed and they didn't expect SUCH popularity. I think that's kinda good though, the new mk is both the dawn of a new mk era plus tons of popularity for Rain lol. if he's not left out though , the other scenario is way better. remember the fuss about Smoke? probably the character everyone died to see due to the hair. most were skeptical or hated him due to that, then saw him and the majority quickly changed their minds WITH the hair and even those that didn't, loved his alt. Smoke really did go through special treatment this time , no more scorpion spear and such. so my point is, if Rain isn't left out, then the team's doing a good job keeping him from ANY leaks just like Smoke and the result will be just as brilliant
