I wouldn't say she is ugly per se, but her head if ****ing huge for her body.
I think its her face though, it seems like her head is normal, but her face is just giant in comparison.

I guess the unfortunate side effects of doing a photoshoot of a female character, is that this thread turns into a "hot or not" topic, rather than "oh, cool it's an HD Mortal Kombat character".

Looking forward to seeing some more. Since you are a one man team, I'd expect that you get busy and are unable to post progress as often as the MKHD thread. But whenever you can get more up, that would be awesome.

I'm still editing some new characters I recently did. It's incredible how long it takes to actually cut out every sprite and edit them.
 
It isn't hd MK unless there is a game to go with it.
This is nice and all, but all it is is just cosplay with a good camera.



And of course this is a "hot or not" discussion, the hell are we supposed to talk about? Her bio?

Well, as I mentioned earlier, I'm trying to see if I can get her to come back over to potentially do a full shoot, but there are a few personal issues holding her back at the moment. Also, while some want to turn this into a "hot or not" discussion, there may eventually be male models/actors... after all, the rest of the MK1 characters are men :wink:
 
I think bbblp's comments were way out of line. There's definitely more to talk about than someone being "hot or not". If you can't see beyond that, then it just shows how shallow you are.

All right guys, let's keep it civil... I'm starting to think once I get a shoot with the male models/actors, the possibility of "hot or not" discussions will be less prevalent :-P
 
Sorry, guys, it's damn stupid to say "ugly" just to say something. If you dislike, better don't open your f**ing mouth. Probably you yourself are not the Mister Beauty, and if anyone anywhere call you ugly, you wouldn't like. This Sonya is nice and cute, and leave the words to these who has something positive to say.
 
The model is beautiful. The photos are amazing. I am so thankful there are fans of the MK series like you Hattoris. Using MK as inspiration for art just shows that in the long term it is more than a game, but a part of history. I am actually into cosplay and am working on several Mortal Kombat costumes. I can't wait to see what other character you come up with next.

They already did the live actors... Anyone remember this? I would definitely say this was probably the low point for MK. The guy playing Shang Tsung seems like he's kidnapped a few kids in his day....

Or perhaps the photographer was just a hardcore MK fan :wink: She actually only had faint knowledge of the game and briefly looked over the sprites... thankfully she didn't mind me moving her around like a mannequin :-P
