Tekken Thread: All things Tekken related

I love Harada!
Rob Smith got him to announce that they're making more "Violet" type characters, where they look different but are controlled the same.
He used Lili as an example. Maybe Lili's mother will make it into TTT2?

So, there'll be more palette swap characters, basically?

Awesome

C'mon Harada, put in P Jack and Michelle already (and Tekken Bowl, too)

Have you heard about the Fight Lab?

That alone is going to blow MK9 out of the water.
Its going to teach advanced techniques to novice players using minigames.

He mentions in an interview that to teach players how to sidestep attacks you will play a mini game where baby Kuma must evade pices of sushi that are thrown at him.

You can also customize Combot WWE style, where you select his individual moves.
This sounds really awesome, and it is, but its going to be broken as hell

CANNOT wait for this game though

@Low- WHOA wait a second... I heard about Combot and the Fight Lab but I did NOT hear about all the other stuff. Seriously, that shit is creative as hell! I was already hyped for it, but I think Tekken Tag 2 is now my most anticipated game this year by FAR now

I know man.
Haven't been this excited since I heard about MK's Test Your Luck (Which was a bit disappointing to be honest)

I went into Shoryuken and found that these characters artwork for the home console version was leaked

here are the pics

Bad news

When the Tekken film was released, it was so bad that Tekken's video game producer Katsuhiro Harada publically distanced himself from the project. He might have to do that again.

For reasons unbeknownst to man, Hollywood is keen to make another Tekken flick. Crystal Sky, one of the production companies on the first film, is planning a prequel that's "part of a franchise of movies".

No details are yet known other than the prequel's title, Tekken: Rise of the Tournament, which makes it sound like the film will follow the creation of the Iron Fist Tournament.

The first Tekken film got its premier in Singapore. The movie was so bad that its release was straight-to-DVD in the U.S. Tekken game producer Harada called the movie "terrible". Yep! That sounds about right.

Human Ogre is back?

Though his chin/jaw looks too small, not at all the chiseled man-beast that he is in SFxT
