Or maybe she was born before war instead? It would make her at last few years older than miss Briggs - remmember that her revenant father was about to kill Sonya. Sonya during her early parenthood surely wouldnt be able to take part at war, it also takes another 9 months to ms Briggs to be born. Realisticaly, Jaqui would be younger than Cassie, at last 4-5 years younger.

In the end, you are exelent reminder, why fanfics suck ass in most cases.

Not to mention that the NR War was the reason that Johnny and Sonya hooked up in the 1st place... So when was Cassie concieved?
 
Ppl can argue about The Story Mode and so on, but This is The Story NRS wanted to tell you. Sure you Can write in your fan fiction stuff, but you gotta take into consideration that you can't please everyone. I like their approach, it's fresh and introduces you to new and probably staying main characters like Cassie and so on. For me personally the bit of mk9 where raiden "accidentally" killed Liu Kang was laughable but I went on with it. So, the story mode sure could do more but maybe they want to include all the stuff you mentioned in the next game, like the Fujin stuff.

More laughable was Mileena introduction - she knew language and martial arts from a start, she recognised her "sister", Jade recognised her at once as Mileena, Mileena knew how to persue "correct" good guy (Jade) without knowing her...and the most laughable part - "She looks like me" spoken by Kitana XD

I love new MK story becouse its cheese in good way. So bad its good and still better than many B-movies.

Well I mean shang tsung cloned her and he may gave her all Information she needed while creating her, at least it's possible since it's magic

I think its more than good enough.. It was entertaining and engaging enough to watch until the end. This is a video game story mode, that aims to introduce as many characters as possible without breaking the plotline, and they did that perfectly fine. I was more interested in this story than a lot of Hollywood movies out there
 
Forget what everyone else is saying about the story. I'm going to keep it cut and dry: this story is Alpha Star System. People need to stop defending a mediocre story just because they are fans of Mortal Kombat. If I can accept the fact that CoD's WAW, BO1, MW3, Ghost, and AW story suck then why can't anyone else? (And I really like Call of Duty)

Edit: Hopefully I edit this in time. I was talking about MKX's story, not yours.
