Re: [SPOILER, RUMOR] Sub-Zero's identity in MKX is...
I was saying that if Kuai IS resurrected it could be him in one point of the story and a possible son in another. Just like there was Bi-han and Kuai in MK9. Sorry for speaking in hypotheticals like your whole crappy theory.
Also, that's why I'm saying DON'T use Armageddon endings though because none of them are canon and none of them make any sense. Even in Noob's ending he doesn't become Sub-Zero again, but an entirely new entity. If Bi-han comes back then I hope Noob Saibot is just dead because if they ever decide to start all over from scratch then people will have to remember that Noob Saibot is some sort of symbiote and I don't want that lingering over a future reboot. I want the story to be retold ACCURATELY.
No, I was saying that Scorpion and Kuai's beef IN GENERAL old timeline and new timeline is forced. IF Bi-han was brought back in MKX it would be strictly to keep this tired @rse rivalry alive. Let's not act like it's for them to mend relationships.
And actually you are wrong. Bi-han didn't murder Scorpion's clan. That was all Quan. Bi-han murdered Scorpion. Because he didn't like him. Because he was from a rival clan. Scorpion then vowed to get revenge on him because of Quan Chi telling him Bi-han murdered his clan. None of that stops the fact that Bi-han just doesn't like Scorpion and murdered him without any goading whatsoever. He just did not like him. He is the reason Scorpion went to hell. Then, Scorpion did the exact same shit to him. Of course, that is because of Quan Chi. However, it doesn't stop the fact that they don't like eachother genuinely without Quan Chi even being added into the mix. So, yeah it is kind of unrealistic. Now, he teaming with Kuai is another story. Even in MK9 Kuai didn't know what his brother had done to Scorpion, nor did Scorpion know who Kuai was. IF they learned a little bit about each other then they would learn maybe they aren't too different from eachother. So, in regards to MK9's ending it would make more sense if it was Kuai and Scorpion, but that doesn't seem to be the case in MKX. Which is actually a point in your favor for Bi-han.
Just saying if you want Scorpion and Bi-han to make up it just really doesn't add up because they don't like eachother at all. IF it's Bi-han I still think it's just to reignite the rivalry. The tired tired rivalry.
Magic word right there.....
IF
As of now, per Quan Chi's trailer and intro Kaui is 1 of Quan Chi's dead revenants (aka walking ghosts) as he was in MK9.
Also you seem to always skip the reasoning as to why he HAS to be resurrected by Quan Chi as Sub-Zero, whenever I mention it.
Why can't Quan Chi just resurrect Kuai-Liang as a new NetherRealm creation, like he did with Kia, Jataaka, Sareena, Bi-Han, Scorpion and Sindel?
Oh, that's right, because Quan Chi HAS to die and free the souls.
Says who?
Why can't Quan Chi get away, as he usually does, and become a bigger threat to the Forces Of Light with his EarthRealm ghost army (or new NetherRealm creation army) that he controls?
I never implied nor said anything about a symbiote, just that the whole
"2 souls in 1 body" (aka divided soul) is possible, in the same way that Ermac has 1,000 souls in his body, but with 2 souls sharing 1 body in Noob Saibot's case.
So, if Bi-Han comes back as the Elder Gods' Champion, he can't atone for his wrongdoings and
HAS to continue the rivalry with Scorpion because
YOU say so? Oh, ok. Got it.
If NRS wanted to have Bi-Han and Scorpion team up to take out Quan Chi, it would be a lot easier to explain (similarly as I have done), than to come up with some convoluted Quan Chi was killed, then Kuai escapes, then he finds a new body, then he comes back as Sub-Zero.
Actually, you are wrong.
Scorpion had vowed to get revenge on Bi-Han because Quan Chi accused Bi-han of murdering his
family.
It's right there in MK9 story mode, where Quan Chi shows Scorpion someone who looks like Bi-Han (likely Quan Chi in disguise) unsheathes a sword and slaughters his wife and child.
The killing his wife and child is where Scorpion (aka Hanzo) went all berserk and killed Bi-Han.
It does add up, as per the various quotes and clues from MKX, given thus far.
Who said that Scorpion and Sub-Zero have to be the best of friends to take out a common enemy?
There are various times throughout history as well as in other works of fiction, where 2 enemies work together to take out a bigger common enemy.
I'm not suggesting that they become best of friends, but Scorpion and Bi-Han being indifferent towards 1 another would be something new and a right step in developing both of them beyond the 22-year tired rivalry.
I don't see Kuai Liang return for MKX. Quan Chi's dialogue with Sub-Zero is evidence enough (I have your brother's soul). He does. We saw Cyber Kuai in Netherrealm serving Quan Chi.
If Bi-Han returns as Sub-Zero (Soulnado or whatever) he and Scorpion could unite and fight against Quan Chi. I would love to see Scorp and Sub killing the sorcerer who betrayed both of them. There is no better death for Quan Chi story wise.
Yes. Exactly.
Kuai's soul was under Quan Chi's control in MK9, so it makes perfect sense that this is who's soul Quan Chi is talking about.
It does make perfect sense.
Quan Chi dying at the hands of the 2 who he betrayed would be a great way for him to die, and it's poetic justice.
