Loving Sub Zero's Ice Grenade as a Brutality, I'll probably use that a lot.

Oh and for anyone asking about what happened at the end of Scorpion's Chapter, a guy was streaming the story last night. I saw pretty much from Sonya to Raiden which is where his account got terminated. I have to say the Voice acting is the best it's ever been and the animation is nice too, literally felt like I was watching a movie.

It was a very satisfying conclusion for Hanzo Hasahi's chapter(don't call him Scorpion lol), I literally was cheering when he went after and finally killed Quan Chi. Truly Epic. Looks like they might need a new sorcerer string pulling bad guy...given Havik's development he has a great chance of being the new arch manipulator come MK11

Uh...Kung Jin is Jonny Yong Bosch. he voices Ichigo, Yu Narukami, Sasori, Yang (sf4), Zero (MvC3), and Lelouch. Also the second black power ranger.

Yeah...my Bad, just did a quick search and Kung Jin is Johnny Yong Bosch...-lightbulb- he plays Ichigo from Bleach that's where I heard him from. He had that same husky quality but Will Yun Lee is definitely Kung Lao...pretty much a cameo..still cool to hear him in MK.

The comics go more in depth with how Hanzo conquered Scorpion but it's only really mentioned in passing briefly in Takeda's chapter that Kenshi helped him. Ermac is pretty much a lackey who 'chooses' who he serves. He switches sides from Mileena to Kotal Kahn at the blink of an eye. He didn't have that many lines that revealed any depth or major importance to the story.

If you want to know more feel free to ask. I'll try to do a brief summary in the next hour or so.

Here’s Chapter 5. I’m trying to remember of the top of my head so details are a little fuzy but I’ll try to just mention the important plot points.

Chapter 5 Sonya Blade

Present time, Sonya is hunting down Kano in a scene very much like the first MK movie. Cut to 5 years ago Sonya, Raiden and Cage go into the nether realm to rescue Jax or get the amulet I’m not sure...pretty sure it was rescue Jax (sorry a little fuzy), she fights revenants Jax, Scorpion and Sub Zero. Cage gets stabbed by Jax. Sonya fights the revenants (Jax, Scorpion, Sub Zero Only). Raiden restores Cage and subsequently Jax, Scorpion and Sub Zero. Johnny is saved, Sonya and him share a genuinely nice moment they then take Jax back. Scorpion and Sub Zero vanish.

Cut back to present time Sonya finds Kano fights him and makes him talk in one of the most Epic scenes she has ever been in...so simple yet so good. (She is straddling him on his chest strangling him to death full of hate and rage where Johnny has to snap her out of it). Kano lives he talks telling the location of Mileena. Cut to D’Vorah

There was a huge retcon to the Tarkatan lore it seems.

In D'Vorah's chapter during the coup scene, Baraka mentions that Shao Kahn conquered his realm long ago, which is why he is forever loyal to him. But iirc, Tarkatans never had their own realm. They were the creation of mixing Outworlders and Netherrealm denizens. So is it now canon that Tarkatans once had their own realm, much like Reptile and the Zaterreans? (Raptors, Saurians whatever tf they're called)

The chapter begins with Cassie and co. waiting at Kotal's...place. Sonya is giving them orders for their next mission. D'Vorah and Kotal walk up and greet them. D'Vorah says that she must go to the Kuatan Jungle to find Mileena and obtain the Talisman. Cassie tells her that she isn't going alone. D'Vorah denies Cassie's company on the mission, but Kotal orders D'Vorah to accept anyways.

5 years earlier: D'Vorah is having a discussion with Kotal Kahn and Reptile. They are talking about making an alliance to fight Mileena in the rebellion. Reptile says he knows things about Mileena. And, speak of the devil, here comes Mileena busting in to the temple. She has her comrades Ermac and Baraka with her, along with a Tarkatan army. Mileena is yelling at Kotal about her right as Shao Kahn's heir. Reptile claims that she isn't the true heir, and says that she is a construct created in Shang Tsung's flesh pits. Ermac switches to Kotal's side at this time. A battle then ensues, and D'Vorah tackles Baraka off of the balcony. This is your first fight as D'Vorah. When Baraka is defeated, D'Vorah looks up at the balcony to see Kotal watching. To prove herself, she kills Baraka by impaling him through the heart and the head. Afterwards, she flies back up to the balcony and into the room, where all Tarkatans have been killed and Mileena, captured. Mileena is taken away by Reptile; D'Vorah and Ermac bow down to Kotal.

Present time: D'Vorah and Cassie sneak up on Rain as he is ordering a Tarkatan around. They intervene, and D'Vorah explains to Rain his TRUE intentions for being an ally with Mileena. Rain denies this, Tanya sneaks up behind Cassie and grabs her, and a battle begins between D'Vorah and Rain. After the battle, D'Vorah says, "Your schemes end here."
As she walks away, she notices Tanya is beating the crap out of Cassie, but continues anyways. Tanya notices her and shoots fire in front of her. "Leaving without your friend, D'Vorah?"
Then, Tanya goes on about how Edenia (or maybe she and Rain?) didn't ally with her out of respect for her solitary nature, and exclaims that it was really because they didn't like her. *the sass is real* They begin to fight, and afterwards D'Vorah walks up to Tanya and Rain, both unconscious and says, "Now two Edenians will die."
Cassie stops her saying, "I know you said they weren't friends, but you're not killing them; head's fine by the way."
They continue the mission and enter a hut containing a chest, and within it, the Talisman. D'Vorah summons some maggots out from under the skin on her hand to unlock the chest. Cassie murmurs, "That is disturbing."
Mileena walks in before they can open it. They end up outside of the hut, and Mileena says her famous line: "You took my throne, and now you wish to steal my means of reclaiming it?!"
Battle then ensues between the two, and D'Vorah comes out victorious.

Cut to Kotal's throne room: Mileena is tied up and on her knees in front of Kotal. She demands that Kotal kill her. Kotal denies the request saying, "You do not deserve to be killed by an Emperor. I give the honor to my first minister instead."
D'Vorah walks up to Mileena with a sinister grin. They exchange looks and Mileena growls at her. D'Vorah reaches for Mileena's chin with her hands, and Mileena tries to resist contact. Now in D'Vorah's grasp, Mileena looks at her with a very menacing stare. D'Vorah proceeds to kiss her...with a twist: maggots begin to exit D'Vorah's mouth and devour Mileena's face. Her eyes bleed, and her skin begins to slowly dissapear. When D'Vorah lets go, a quick, terrible scream that will make you cry is let out by Mileena. Her body, skinless at the head, lies bleeding from the back and the head. Cassie says to Jacqui, "I know I'll never eat again."

Cut to D'Vorah in the Kuatan Jungle: she is talking to someone concerning her loyalty and how she obtained the Talisman. This person is revealed to be none other than QUAN CHI! D'Vorah ends the discussion saying, "This one lives to serve Shinnok."

Now this part involves D'Vorah, but I am not entirely sure if it's part of her chapter: She and two of Kotal's soldiers are walking down the Kove. The soldiers are carrying the chest from earlier. D'Vorah stops walking and turns around. One of the men asks if there's a problem, to which D'Vorah replies, "Two problems."
She then proceeds to blast venom in their faces and take the chest for herself. She opens it, grabbing the Talisman as she gives a deceitful grin.

I only had an easy time remembering that chapter because I watched it over and over again. Haha. It really is a great part of the story.

I only got to see it one time so it's pretty fuzy. I have seen most of Scorpions as it was uploaded on a channel where I watched it several times. The only new info there was the epic scene between him and Quan Chi which I vividly remember...man was it good.

Anyway, Back to the summaries. This one is quite fuzy. Order of events with Kenshi and Takeda might not be right, I also can't remember the fights Takeda has in the present. It'll come back to me. (Should have eaten more last night) So I'll break it down into 2 Parts.

Chapter 7 Takeda Takashi Part 1

Cut to the present time in the prison (Kotal imprisoned the young special forces not trusting Earthrealm could do a good job guarding the amulet given they lost it to Mileena trusts D’Vorah with it...doh). Takeda uses his telekenetic abilities on a guard bringing them food and knocks him out. He gets the keys and frees the others.

Cut to 5 years ago, there is a really nice fight scene with Hanzo Hasahi and Takeda in his Shirai Ryu gear, it seems like it could be real but most people can probably tell it’s just a test...a final test. Hanzo and him share a surrogate father son moment then Kenshi enters where he and Takeda reunite, Takeda feels hurt and betrayed by his father for abandoning him. Kenshi tells him that his mother was killed and he left him with Hanzo to protect him from the Red dragon. Kenshi and Takeda fight. Takeda still hurt and angry refuses his father where Hanzo vouches for Kenshi mentioning how he helped him conquer Scorpion...Takeda starts to soften up. Kenshi then tells him had he told him when he was younger he would have not been ready and have gotten killed. He left him with Hanzo to protect him and to perfect his skills. He then shares a telekentic moment with Kenshi. Takeda bewildered and impressed by his new ability wants to know more. Kenshi says he is ready to learn his new abilities.

Cut to present, Takeda in his special forces gear, Kung Jin, Jacqui and Cassie sneak into the cove where they see Erron Black, Ermac and Reptile find 2 of Kotal's guards killed in the Cove where the case which had the amulet is broken and missing. Erron deduces by the way that the soldiers died that it was D’Vorah.

Part 2 Coming as I try to remember who Takeda fights in the cove lol - EDIT - Just remembered it was Erron Black, Ermac and I think Reptile or Ferra Torr (Basically all of Kotal's entourage minus D'Vorah)
