Wow... So far the arcadeendings in this game blow. The only one that's good so far, or at least contribute anything is Erron Black's.

Actually, Erron doesn't kill Sonya, just Cassie and her teammates.

I haven't seen/read Ferra/Torr's ending, but I hear it's really sad.

Ok dont get me wrong I like Scorpion. He is my 2nd fav, but seriously why does he have more of a good guy ending then Liu Kangs??? I mean Im seriously starting to think that NRS, Boon, or whoever want to push Liu Kang aside to make Scorpion the new protagonist. I mean it sure as hell feels that way

Cassie is the new protagonist. Liu Kang is evil all throughout MKX, save for flashbacks.
 
I think they uploaded Kenshi's too in their channel.

Same as was mentioned before - Kenshi gets together with Takeda, frees Taven and hunts down Daegon for his wife/baby-mama's murder.

Do I see a pattern here? They may be setting up Hanzo as the new protagonist, with Takeda/Kenshi going down Scorpion's path for revenge?

Hmm. I could use this plot for a write-up, elsewhere.

Cassie as the new protag.... Im cool with that and I would like to see her carry that role for awhile. I feel the whole Protag role does not fit Scorpion and that he should just do his own thing while still being a key player

Yeah I heard but it makes more sense that he is evil because he was never brought back to life like Sub and Jax and im perfectly ok with that. In the ending tho he is alive and yet they still make him out to be a evil tool... thats when it starts to irk me thats like if Superman were to go rogue because F it why not

Scorpion has never been the protagonist.

Liu Kang has been the protagonist for too many games and won the MK tournament like 6 times by now, it's time to make things different, new protagonist, new champion, and Liu Kang as the king of hell.

That was one of the many Deceptions of that game. Scorpion was the TRUE champion of the Elder Gods in that game. Shujinko was just a counterfeit who bore the Stigma of awakening Onaga.

Liu Kang stopped being the protagonist a long time ago (except in MK9 obviously, because it was a reboot/retelling of the games where he was the protagonist and even then I'd say Raiden was the main character). He isn't even an important character in MKX.

Deception told you the story of Shujinko and you played through the entirety of konquest mode as Shujinko. He was the protagonist.

Ok 1st i just want to say im tired of that lame ass "Oh lius been the main protagonist for awhile now let someone else take the role" excuse... Man liu hasnt been a main protagonist since 1997 Things have been different since MKDA -_- and Mk9 doesnt count because its just a retelling of the first 3 games...... Now back to what i was going to say I agree im cool with the idea of him ruling hell its just that it was done poorly in the arcade ending(Basically he kills Shinnok, saves earthrealm, beats up demons, and then decides screw it im going to rule the nertherrealm and take over other realms). In story (from what ive been told) he was never resurrected and that he is still a revenant which makes a lot more sense for him to rule hell.

Edit: He had some amazing Dragons Fire Liu Kang combos and Ravenous Mileena combos above 35%.
He did Scorpion combos but we've already seen high Scorpion combos.

Great to see that NRS finally uses different colors for P2 costumes instead of just making them a shade darker.

Takeda actually looks pretty cool in his white ninja costume.
