Raiden sent Cassie on a mission to kill a sorcerer that was "thought" to be a resurrected Shang Tsung.

Cassie beat the old man (almost?) to death. When she asked Raiden who the old man was, he replied in a sad, but relieved tone "Shujinko.."

So I guess it was Cassie who stopped Shujinko's quest.

So if this ending is canon this meais that Onaga will never be realeased

I'm happy we at least got a conclusion.And it'd be cool if the endings are actually canon this time, as they haven't been since MK4 I think.

Though Cassie wasn't born when Shujinko was finishing his quest so...it's impossible for they to have fought before he had already completed his quest.
 
I love the ladder boss. The whole cut scene where he transforms is straight up badass.

EDIT: Demon Shinnok win pose tho!! He should have been the story unlock...
 
I'm leaving everything related to MKX in YouTube (except trailers and gameplay), TRMK and all streamers that have the game before it's released. I was thinking to do it on 14th April, but since these streamers spoil it, I quit 'till I complete story mode and everything related to the story. I'm happy I missed half of Cassie's ending and don't know what happened or who's the final boss.
