Liu Kang could beat Shao Kahn though, Raiden just didn't let him.
 
Damn couldn't resist reading. Seems lazy to me. Do you even fight Kang or Kitana? Reiko wasn't even shown? Like someone else said, they disregard what happened in the old timeline, where is Shujinko?

Apparently Onaga's Chamber being opened by the Deadly Alliance was what somehow triggered Onaga's final ressurection.Shujinko has completed his quest and is probably dead after 25 years, unless made immortal or something happened.
 
Two skeleton big hands grab the victim then basically twist and grind them, leaving the head in tact on the floor
 
I gotta say I'm disappointed with the ending. Other than Cassie it's just the old usual suspects. Reiko is one of my faves I don't see how he or many other post MK3 characters didn't make it into the story. Maybe he dies in the last comic but if he lives it's lame he isn't in the story mode. Like others have said this story seems really lazy. Demon Shinnock! Really??? Come on. Oh well maybe next time.
 
Story was meh to me, but it's only 2 hours out of the years i'll be playing the game anyway. It'll come to a point where i won't even remember the story, like mk9 and injustice.
 
Overall I'm pretty okay with the story. I thought Cassie was "Next Hero" in the franchise since she was announced, and was perfectly okay with it. I like that the kids were the front and the ones actually getting things done.

So can we gather if Outworld and Earthrealm are still in the "Cooperative" stage of a relationship? Cause I kinda loved the idea that Earthrealm and Outworld are better off as allies then enemies. They also say they had to grab D'Vorah in the ending scene, did she align with Shinnok or just someone else that fought against them?
