Ending is okay. Errons alt is absolute trash. Shinnoks fatality is sick especially with Kitanas screams of pain.

Cassie beats a demonic Shinnok. She and Jin help an injured Raiden and put him into the Jinsei which is infected. Raiden does some voodoo crap and cleanses the Jinsei whilst also reverting Shinnok back to his now defeated normal form.

Johnny Cage was also injured and tied up so they help him. Hes proud of Cassie. Sonya and more SF enter the Jinsei chamber. Sonya tells some SF to isolate Dvorah (I dont know anything about dvorah being there) and then Sonya goes over to the Cages and calls him Johnny.
Johnny - "You here that Cass? She called me Johnny"

We cut to the Netherrealm where we see what seems to be a now revenant or dark Raiden. He talks about how he will rape anyone who threatens earth. He declared the people he was talking to as the new Netherrealm rulers. He throws Shinnoks head to them. (Shinnok cant die so hes a living head). The camera switches and we see revenant Liu Kang and Kitana as the Netherrealm rulers.

The end.

Sounds okay, not sure I like who defeats him, but ah well. I'll still play it. Does that mean that Shinnok is an unlockable?
 
really disappointed at shinnok being the big bad, thought ed said it it would be a surprising returning character and that he hasn't been a boss before
 
So apparently in the course of 25 years Onaga still hasn't returned like in the old timeline?

They're disregarding old chronology just for the sake of it.By the end of MKX Shujinko would already have completed his quest, nothing changed.Did the Deadly Alliance's actions within Onaga's Chamber trigger his ressurection? Because if not, it doesn't make sense.

Otherwise, that's somewhat of an intriguing ending.Can't wait for MKXI, or whatever they call the next one.

Just feel that, while Kitana and Liu Kang are some of my favorite characters, they could've stayed out of this one.They were revenants the whole story, could've been just fightable NPCs.

NRS added them just so people woudn't lose their mains, but sacrificed character slots that could've been used to develop characters like Shujinko, Reiko, Tanya, and more characters from the 3D Era who are instead left with cameos or nothing at all.

She wouldnt normally be able to beat him so they went the lazy route and gave her that power surge that Johnny got before beating Shinnok in chapter 1.

Kinda makes sense she beat him though.Johnny's MK9 ending did state he had some potential to be a great warrior, so his daughter should as well.In the old timeline it was Sub-Zero who beat Shinnok's demon form and Liu Kang beat his regular form.

Cassie isn't far from those two in skill and raw power.

Total dissapoinment, Shao Kahn was destroyed by Elder Gods, and a fallen elder god was destroyed by 20 years old common soldier girl, even he is in demon form. Ed Boon getting mad.
