[SPOILER] DLC Characters Ladder Endings & Dialogue Intros

I'm starting to lose belief. The most recent ones he put up make no sense and have tons of vocab errors, and he said Jason has victory dialogue and in-game dialogue.
Not making much sense.

Those aren't vocab errors. They sound perfectly fine. Maybe just not to you. Not everything has to be grammatically perfect. Some people actually talk like this.

What I meant was victory/in-game dialogue for all the characters, excluding Predator and Jason who obviously don't talk.

How is that possible when none of the characters are released & most of them are incomplete?

Because we've been sadly lied to and most of the DLC content is actually on the disc. The only things NRS are currently working on right now are character models and variations. Everything else has been decided or created a long time ago.

If you're truthful, tell us Tanya's variation names.
You won't get banned, nobody will get in trouble.

All of the intro dialogues that are currently in the game are spoken eloquently & they make sense, yet these 'official intro dialogues' sound like missing intros for Ferra.

"I'm gonna beat some respect outta you!"

That doesn't make any sense.

I don't have a problem with this. The DLC aren't finished, but I find it a logic step to put what they did manage to finish before the game's release on the disc, so you don't have to fill up your console storage space unnecessarily.

As you said, the models and gameplay aren't done. Those are the main things and the most important things about the DLC characters, and they aren't on disc (except for an unfinished version of Tanya for Story Mode, but I think that's forgivable).

I know not many feel like I do though. People would prefer if NONE of the DLC is found ANYWHERE on the disc, because as long there's just a little bit already on the disc they feel entitled to get it ALL for free. That's not how it works though.

The only DLC character with listed variations in the code of the game on the disc is Jason, because they have started working on him first.

Predator, Tanya and Tremor are included as well, but their variation names are simply placeholders and titled "VARIATION ONE/VARIATION TWO/VARIATION THREE".

Sorry.

And if you need more details and don't believe me, the DLC variations go from line 641 to line 667.

Jason's variations are the ones that have been mentioned earlier:
* V1 = Slasher
* V2 = Relentless
* V3 = Unstoppable

You're changing your story now.
Just a page ago you said 'I have pretty much everything from all the DLC characters' and you even went as far as offering to name them
Now that I am requesting them, you say you don't have the names.
Please elaborate because I'm confused.

no i think he said all of jason's info
this is his exact quote -
BTW... I know Jason's variations... bio... victory pose dialogues... in-fight chatter... pretty much everything. Just saying. Not sure I want to drop all of it, though. Don't want to get the site and myself into trouble or anything.

Eh, that wouldn't be a lie. The characters are still totally unfinished. It's not surprising they had the voice actors do the parts while they had them in-house.

In any case, has anyone else looking at the PC data managed to find this info? An independent corroboration would be great. I'm not trying to accuse you of anything, Mr. Ice, I'm just always wary with leaks haha

Although I too find it logical from a developer standpoint to put what is done on the disc, basically to prepare everything and have the code working and ready, from a gamer's perspective it pisses me off and I find it wrong.

Goro is paid DLC and is on disc.

Tanya is NPC, but is pretty much on disc. Her model and variations don't need that much work, despite she got a re-design, and that's why she's probably coming second.

Predator and Jason are likely being built from scratch, but the look of those characters is pretty much determined. They're not inventing anything new, just following.

Tremor from the whole pack is the only character that has been truly created from nothing since he's pretty much a new character. That's also why he's probably going to come last and why his gameplay will probably be the best and most unique.

On the disc are Jason, Tanya, Predator and Tremor endings, intros, in-fight chatter, victory poses and to a degree even scripts.

DLC costumes are also listed on the disc.

If you consider all of the above, the Kombat Pack is overpriced as hell and hardly has a value of $30.

Sure, not everything is obviously on the disc and NRS really are working on some of the DLC content as we speak.

But when they said there won't be any DLC on disc they simply lied as that is not obviously true. Should they have worded it differently and admitted that some DLC is there, I probably wouldn't have posted this in the first place.

And those micro-transactions are a chapter on their own.

Bottom-line is, the Kombat Pack should cost less and I don't agree with where the industry is heading.

NRS, out of all the developers, have tried to minimize this practice and not be a part of it, but the pressure is so big that they have decided to follow suit - albeit in a limited manner. I don't blame them, but at the same time I don't agree with it.

As for this data... It's on the disc we paid for. Period.
