SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

I guess the black dragon are trying to recruit members ...

Of course they want cassie cage

"I AM the flashing lights and special effects."

Maybe what they did was apart of Kotal's plan. He is in bed with Kano iirc. I remember someone mentioning that Kano betrays Kotal and D'Vorah at some point in the story. Maybe it was an intro.

Then again some of the intros probably having nothing to do with the story and maybe act as a vague this is how character 1 would react to fighting character 2.

I remember it now. It wasn't vague. Kano asks D'Vorah if she's still mad at him. Don't remember her response though.

That's too specific for it to be meaningless.

As for "abduction"... why pretty much everyone here decided that it was done with evil intentions? Maybe actually they were SAVED by the orders of Kotal Kahn? You know so to make Sonya owe him and make alliance? That is also a VERY strong possibility.

Because of Jarek saying "Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs. It's two-for-one night!" Really doesn't sound like he was surprised by that portal at all.

Was that Jarek saying that? I thought it was Erron. I figured he followed them into the portal because of the picture on Cassie's phone.

Nah, I'm pretty sure Erron was meant to be on the other side of the portal. Cassie was taking photos of what was ahead of her, and the speech bubble came from behind them, away from the portal.

Ok just read the comic. Well shit. That was a surprise. I was really expecting them to kill Frost, but it seems they proved me wrong and just one more time proved. that there is no 100% guarantee. While I wasn't expecting Cassie killing Frost on her own, there was always possibility that someone could have forced her and I mean that possibility almost became true if not for Jarek and Tanya.
I am still thinking that this was just a nice fanservice and we might not see Frost in the future.

You send Hitler but don't you send Black Dragon after Sonya's daughter.

I think we don't really know Kotal's involvement at all.

We shall see on the next issue...D'vorah got too much offended, maybe they wanted to please the Emperor and will make a surprise.

He went there to talk ("we are not here for kombat", and as I understood [didn't read it yet!], he got upset by the violence the SF used), and D'vorah was the one who started the mess.

Good chapter. I'm glad that Frost didn't get kill off other wise they would have retcon her death if she ever appear as DLC or future games. With Hsu Hao, it's a character that most fans hate and seeing Scorpion killing him was cool. With Frost, she has a decent fan base and I would imagine fans would be piss if Cassie kill her. It's cool to see Jarek and the other Black Dragon members in it. Still makes me wonder if Kira and Kobra join the Black Dragon or not in the new timeline. Jarek is likely going to be killed off just like what happen with Hsu Hao.

I hope her name is "Jacqui Briggs" if she makes the roster, and not Jacqui. Really drives home the relation. I fully expect Jacqui though.

I hope her name is simply "Jacky" and not some stereotypical Ebonics name like "Ja-Kwee" or "Ja-Kwhy"

I stated the same thing about Jax in another thread, voicing my opinion on how stereotypical Jax sounded when he spoke. Some people tried to say, "What's wrong with Jax being a stereotypical black man?" I really should not have fed the trolls but all too often do we fall into the nonsense they spew on this thread. Hopefully, though, his daughter won't have this issue.

Side note~ I'm cringing at the names they went through before choosing this one for her. I bet you "Jaqwelin" was one and pronounced jay-quail-in.
