I hope that they don't kill her off period or so quickly! Like i said in a previous post, I hope they fight and they both display a good match but Frost turns it up and beats Cassie. Kind of an eye opener that she isn't as good as she thought and is humbled by the experience and take more of a serious side, but keeps her light heartedness. OR Cassie beats Frost but refuses to kill her which could lead to Frost being in the game an have some type of rival/friendship with Cassie.

I would like to see Jacqui in the game. Maybe she could have his strength but giving her cybernetic enhancements would be too much for her 1st appearance.

No one is asking for her to dress up as a ninja. Point is her appearance is cheap and forced in here. I can already tell that writer didn't put ANY effort in her. Most likely because NRS just said NO to Frost. So he just decided to use her as stepping stone for Cassie.

I don't think Cassie will become a maniac, but killing Frost and this whole near death experience will make her take special forces business more seriously.

Frost is going to die in next issue. That is almost de facto. (I never say 100% guarantee just to be safe, but 99.9% is the minimum I give for this). Too many elements point out to this.

A. This is illegal deathmatch.
B. Frost is as arrogant as in previous timeline (you can already see that by the way she speaks), so she won't go down easily.
C. Frost will fight to the death obviously.
D. This and next chapter is called Caged for a reason.
E. The last page states "Two entered, only ONE can leave."

Well in short she is dead. Knowing the length of chapters. I think we will see couple of punches and few kicks and after that battle will end. Most likely Cassie is going to use shadow kick to turn tables. Frost's death might also be cause by her neck being broken. I will actually laugh if Cassie will kill Frost in the same way as Sonya killed Kano in the first Mortal Kombat movie.
 
And don't want Frost to be in the game at all, but I think Cassie should foloow Johnny and even what Himmerick said: all this killing may have a consequence.

Besides, there is "something" getting stronger with all this bloodshed.

Cassie should think first. It's not even for Frost, it's for her.

They just wanna get rid of her, so people can stop asking for her. Kira will probably just be ignored for the most part, unfortunately, I always thought of her as the main female bountyhunter.
I can imagine that if they don't kill her off, NRS would be still receiving those 'DLC' pleas and the constant 'Frost for MK11?' tweets.
 
Really enjoyed the last chapter... However, Sonya´s outfit seems so military-ish I don´t like it... I can´t barely see a bit of her skin... and I know many of you wanted NON stripper outfits, but I can´t agree...
Returning to the storyline, I´m starting to like Kotal a lot... and as I believed, D´vorah won´t be on my faves... what a pitiful creature...
I don´t think this Erron Black will be Salazar, but let´s wait and see...
Cassie was my fave from the newcomers, but, her story just doesn´t seem so interesting, so, I think I will go with Kotal by now... what an awesome character... that´s what Outworld needed.... I think he can easily make an alliance with Kitty...

But that would make many appearances forced, like Hsu Hao, Sub-Zero, Kenshi...

I mean, what kind of effort could he put on her?

Your points are valid though. I like Frosts
personalitiy, still, her story was kinda stupid
all the way. It would just be wrong to kill her off
in the Comics now/again.

IMO...Yes & NO

Remember Frost had issues with Sonya when they first met and Kira fighting Cassie in a deathmatch would have worked to considering Kano & Sonya's history, but i think that would have been a too obvious choice or rather an unwelcomed option.

Speaking of Kano, For as Long as those to have been in the game, has their rivalry died out without an outcome? Every game has been about capturing Kano and the Black Dragon. Do you think they will have some type of animosity in the game?

Good point. I actually missed that one. Raiden actually said that bloodshed could begin with Cassie. Knowing that this is Mortal Kombat and taking into a account how much killing we saw already in just three chapters, that "could" is the same as "will"

Cassie is young. She isn't some shaman, nor has experience. Johnny it seems treats her as a "warrior princess", while Sonya gave her the brutal side of life teachings. She will definitely kill Frost. After all Frost will be attempting to kill her, so Cassie in self defense will kill Frost to save herself.

I agree with [MENTION=16568]Misucra[/MENTION] 100% percent... It´s obvious Frost will be killed in the next issue... C´mon, hated chars like her or Hsu Hao only can be useful as pawns in MK....
 
This was my favorite issue yet. Finally the story seems to be moving along and we are seeing the pieces all falling into place.

1. It appears that Jaqui is indeed Jax's daughter

2. Cassie and Jaqui are both awesome characters and I really hope Jaqui is in the game as a playable character. Although I do fear that she may be killed off at some point

3. It seems like Sonya and Johnny Cage arent together anymore

4. VERY interested in learning more about how Mileena has been fighting Kotal for the throne. I am really beginning to think that Mileena will be a very important character in the story and possibly a sub boss.

5. Erron Black seems interesting

6. I love Cassie's attitude

Now the one thing I hated. It would be incredibly lame and damn near insulting if Frost gets killed off in the next issue. That would have been an incredibly interesting new story for Frost and now I actually want to see more of her character. You see NRS... thats called CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT! Something that they obviously have a problem with since so many characters show up in one game and then get the axe. It was one thing with Hsu Hao since he did nothing before getting killed off. The only thing I can hope for is that since its an illegal MMA fight, the police show up last minute and Frost can escape.
 
Stripper clothes are extremely out of character and nonsense, IMO.

Kitana looks WAAAAAAAAy better now.

But we could even say "well, but in Outworld they dress like that".

Bad excuse. But and excuse.

Now, there is no excuse for Sonya look a stripper. Not only because she is a military (outfits and etc.), but...really. Give on shot on her breasts. Makes no sense.

Well that's a first.
I think the major military touch was something I had hoped to see since her MKDA alternate.
She reminds me of a female stryker now.

Mate do you see my signature? I like Frost. She is my top fav character in MK right now. Hell I started petition for her to appear in MKX and even drew comics with her. I WISH I would be wrong.

Problem is. Everything shows that she will be killed off... again. Just this time she will die even faster.

But that would make many appearances forced, like Hsu Hao, Sub-Zero, Kenshi...

Well even if someone as average as me was able to think of some entertaining new backstory for Frost then of course original creators of her could do it even better than that. With all this different timeline thing, Frost had a huge potential to become something unique/interesting and maybe one of the new main characters, not just sideshow like in DA and Armageddon.
 
Side note. I think its also incredibly lame that characters like Kung Lao and Kitana can come back from the dead but when characters like Hsu Hao or possibly Frost die, they are gone for good.

I guess that depends if the creators like her and think she's worth the effort. Idk do NRS team hate Frost?
