hey b,b,b,lp i had a feeling you would like EDGE MASTER lol he looks badass i told you, hes from the first soul calibur on dreamcast, i think i will main him, judging by his sword i think he will have his own set of moves even though he''s like the shang tsung of SC. and yes algol is looking like gill's other gay brother haha.
 
Mitsurugi is still in this right? I just re downloaded SC 1, and man I have so much fun playing as him. Might have to give Ezio a whirl too.

yeah no doubt, i know your astoroth is going to be mean as f*ck, i still dont know who i'll main since kilik wont be back, is either yoshimitsu,cervantes,Edge master or created character with talim's weapon, guess ill wait till the full roster is revealed.
 
i cannot wait for this game. already paid off at best buy so getting Dampierre. never played him but he looks hysterical. cannot wait to get my Hilde on.

i cant wait for this. i think Hilde is the most creative fighter ever. next to skarlet of course :)

im glad they are adopting the story mode and super moves like MK did. great to see MK setting the new standard for fighting games. hope to see you guys online!!

also you gotta give it up to MK. it really sparked the fighting genre again, and with Dead Or Alive 5, Soul Cal 5, virtua fighter 5 final showdown coming(lots of part 5's coming lol), its a great time to be a fighter fan. thanks mk.

Like:
Patroklos- Sword & shield male character, perfect and very likely to be my main
Pyrrha- Could've made her less cutesy (but hey SC is more anime/japanese friendly) but overall she's probably going to be pretty good
Z.W.E.I- Finally a mature character design though he vaguely resembles a certain somebody from Twilight...only more badass
Viola- Love her character design, finally can implement a custom mage with her fighting style, what Amy should have been

Iffy:
Xiba- Interesting but did they really have to dump Kilik for another child character. An older Kilik would look far better

Not Impressed:
Leixia- Don't look schoolgirl/teenage characters, to me she's probably going to be a more annoying, less likable version of Xianghua
Natsu- Hate her character design. She's supposed to be Japanese...why is she blonde? And another teenager? Ugh...

Returning Characters:
They all look really good and glad that they decided to scrap many of the insignificant characters (Rock, Seong Mi-Na, Yun-seung, Talim) in favor of reviving the storyline with some new faces. Also nice to know that older female characters such as Ivy and Hilde haven't been scrapped due to age (like so many developers do).

Still hoping for: Zasalamel & Setsuka (or at least counterparts...non-teenage counterparts...)

It's great to see how hyped you are for SC5, but... why make a thread for this in the Mortal Kombat 2011 sub-forum when it isn't even related to MK in general, especially when there's already a thread for SC5 in the Video Games section? :laugh:

looks pretty cool I hope to see a demo first though. soulcalibur is my second favorite fighting game of all time. followed by street fighter and virtua fighter.
 
Hmmm. Edge Master is definitely coming out of retirement once again to show the youngsters (Natsu, Xiba, Leixia, Z.W.E.I., Patroklos, Pyrrha, etc.) the ropes on being made in history of swords and souls.

Algol, definitely a Gill rip-off with that appearance. He would be better with the armor, and not some half-naked messiah.
 
there hasn't been much/any good hilde footage, this is the best one ive seen and you can hear her theme in the background, the music in this new SC is phenomenal, i love how she yells "for our homeland!" when she does her critical edge, cant wait for this game!!!

love hilde. shes my fave. they got some western and eastern composers collaberating on this soundtrack. i think its the best one yet. theres a tira vs hilde match on you tube also that shows more of hildes specials. way cool. 4 weeks!

sh*t i dont know what to do, because i have $100 credit at toys r us from when i bought my kid's gifts, so i want to use it towards SCV but then i wont have dampierre, im not gonna main him but i would like to have all the characters. im gonna be broke because i need to have this hardware, i might be crazy to shell out $160 for an arcade stick but this is the best looking one ive seen.

After careful consideration: F$%k this game, I love the SC series but removing kilik is a slap in the face and a wake up. My time has passed with this series and its time to move on. I wish the rest of you well with it but f**k it I'm out!!!!!
