something I noticed about Kratos when fighting bosses

I don't know if this is known or if people care since it is kratos lol

But i just found out Kratos' golden fleece move works on Kahn's hammer throw. it doesn't stun him and he fires his enery burst back

AND from the looks of it when fighting Kintaro and Shao Kahn, that golden fleece move is unblockable cuz I know Kahn HAD to have been blocking and it went through hitting him.

just some observation, if this is known old news....i'll go back to my rock lol

Kratos is ridiculously good with the bosses, it's kind of sad. I think he's also one of the few that can directly block Shao Kahn's hammer toss.

the hammer toss. It is pure evil. Unfortunately, I will not be able to test this trick because I have MK for my xbox.

Two things that puzzle me about Kratos

1. His uppercut launcher (I think its back triangle and you hold it and you launch slow mo a-la GoW into the air and can do another move depending on what button you push) doesn't seem to have the same hit box his normal uppercut does. A little annoying to whiff this standing right next to someone

2. I don't know about Goro, but I know his normal uppercut whiffs bad on Kintaro from behind. I only noticed it on him though so not really sure what caused it, whether it was just a fluke in that match or if it has to do with the hit box from Kratos's blades just being oddly shaped enough to where it has a wonky time with collision detection with Kintaro's character model from behind.

Having said that, Kratos holds a special place in my heart now. I beat the arcade ladder with all current 28 characters. I'd went through 27 characters before Kratos, and every time I had experienced at least one round loss to someone (characters I was good with like Scorpion or Jax, it came against Shao Kahn). I barely beat Kintaro both rounds (thanks to a few of those whiffs above). I more or less had resigned that I wasn't going to beat the Arcade Ladder without a single round loss on Medium with a character the first time through. To make a long story short, Kratos pleasantly surprised me with how well he handled Kahn. His forward dash seems to have a timing that is absolutely perfect (not too fast or too slow) for the cross jump/uppercut method to beating him. I took a few lumps, but in the end I beat Kahn 2 straight rounds, and with the last character left, I FINALLY claimed my sought after victory of not losing a single round in the Medium arcade ladder with him.

He's from Sony.. glitched, hacked and all of the above just like their network. (Just a joke you sensitive guys. Not trying to start a flame war)

Yes Kratos owns Kahn. Instead of an uppercut, try F+4,2 Dash F+4,2 (hold 2), 4 on any boss character. Great damage for how simple it is. Reflect a projectile with the Golden Fleece, dash forward and do Zues' Rage when the opponent is popped up. Effective and fun.
