It sounds like what MK10 would've been, storywise. Like they actually reworked the MK10 story to be about DC characters instead of the next MK game.

How are Superman and the other gods tuned down storywise then? Didn't they say the story explains why Nightwing can beat Superman? Hoping it isn't just a rerun of MkvsDC though. IMO in story Superman should be a stronger boss character instead of someone Nightwing beats in 3rd match and then escapes.

On the other hand the character select screen seems to divide the roster 50/50 (Superman on 1 side and Batman on the other side) so I wouldn't be too surprised if that was a factor and the game truly is about Batman trying to stop Superman, and whoever is revealed to pull the strings. Lex? Brainiac? Darkseid again? Shao Kahn?

I don't think it's that at all OP.


I'm gonna guess the plot is this.

Bad guys start doing some really bad things.

And the heroes get torn into two factions.

Batman's type of justice
no killing, throw in jail.

And some of the heroes go on a kill the bad guys spree. Where instead of jailing them, they believe that killing them is better for the world.

And this seperates the heroes thus "injustice"

I don't think it's any good guys teaming with bad guys to stop rogue good guys.

That's kind of ridiculous.

No I don't think it's that shallow. And OP? Boon said that the story will explain why Batman, Nightwing, ect. Can beat up superman. I've heard to that Batman has been shown to be wearing a ring containing kryptonite.

But if you know the comics you would have known that there are only to options that would even things out kryptonite or magic. I'm leaning more towards Magic because any amout of kryptonite will render superman powerless.
