I noticed the lack of a Skrillex thread, so I started one. He's coming to Arizona next month so I'm pretty damn excited. By the way my name on TRMK is from an awesome Skrillex song...youtube it!
 
I must say I prefer the acts of Burial or James Blake and Skream! over Skrillex and this new movement of "brostep"

but if you enjoy it that's cool

fun fact: the lead singer in this video is Skrillex
 
im personally not a fan of skrillex, like people have already said, i prefer the likes of burial.
also love zomby, joker, synkro, phaeleh annd the list goes on!
 
They are very good, Skrillex and Hadouken are the 2 best of the "newest artist/band" at electro genre i heard. Horse the band Golden mummy MIX is my personal favorite


but nothing beat The Toxic Avenger

 
Horse the Band isn't really... electronic though.
I dig them alot but they aren't anywhere near the same sound as Skrillex or other electronic influenced bands.

I think he was talking about the remix he posted. :p.. Skrillex is cool stuff, though. Going to see him play this summer, will be my first electronic gig.. :p
 
For all of you excited to see Skrillex live, prepare to be extremely disappointed. Skrillex is a complete amateur when it comes to live performing. I remember being at one of his live sets, and he bombed to a point where the crowd was Booing and Awhing at his lackluster performance. He even got to the point where he got on the mic and apologized for screwing up.

On that note, I can't get a joy out of listening to Skrillex. He completely ruins dubstep, glitching the complete shit out of his tracks until there's no melody, rhythm, or anything of the sorts. His first song on his first album sounds identical to his last song on his latest album. His sound doesn't evolve, if you can even call it his "sound".
