Should Kabal Have his Old Fatality Back?

It seems to be very 'Cartoonish', But I've actually met people In real life who say they actually want this Silly fatality to be in!
Your thoughts?
 
i love the hooksword swing that they showed - and his other one with the intestines sounds great - so i guess i like the new ones better
 
I hope not, given this is supposed to be a more 'serious' MK. I wouldn't really like his mask removal/ugly face one either...
 
I'll pass on the inflatable and the scare. Don't get me wrong, I got a kick out of them as a novelty, but I'm not seeing them fit in with MK9.

No. Frankly all of Kabal's fatalities up until this point have sucked.

The scare one...I thought it was cool when I was like...13. But I was 13. I've left the stupidity of youth behind long ago.
 
You know what??? Even if totally silly and cartoonish, actually the Scary Face Fatality could work if severely upgraded with current technology!

Think of it: Kabal turns his back to the camera and slowly approachs the opponent; then he removes his mask in front of his face, the opponent starts screaming, then we get to see a x-ray image in which the heart just cracks and split in two, same for his brain! Then the victims just stands up for a couple of seconds while blood starts dripping from the mouth and then he/she falls face first on the ground!
 
It doesn't really fit, but they might be able to do it in a way that fit somewhat. I'd love to see something similar, but not the outright same thing again.
 
It could have the same concept but be a serious fatality, people don't take that into consideration. He could just hook his hose to someones chest and blow air into them, making them bleed from every hole in their body then explode. It doesn't have to have that comical value to it to make it work.

Actually, that doesn't sound bad, but it's not enough for a fatality. Also, it seems that we will be able to see Kabal's face during the battle if his mask cracks, so the effect will be lost.

As for the spin fatality - no. It's more dumb than funny. And his other one from Deception is similar to the one we have now, in a way, so that won't work either.

Wrong Fatality.
 
IMO Kabal's Scary Face fatality is ridiculous without the humor. We're talking about two characters, who have relentlessly bludgeoned each other for the entire match, and at the very end, one of them dies because they were frightened to death?
If NRS actually tried to pass that off seriously, I think I'd be stuck in a permanent facepalm position. It was great in the classic MKs because it was amusing, but if it's not amusing, then it's nothing.

The only (and I do mean only) way I could accept that fatality seriously, was if it ripped off Scarecrow from Batman Begins. If Kabal poisoned his opponent with deadly hallucinogenic gas, and revealed his face as they were dying, then that could be interesting. Otherwise no way.
 
I dont know, hooks are ok, but only one, not like deception,,,is a shame, i think that kabal gonna be enhanced with more "speed" elements like the flash in mk vs dc. well, if kabal have another fatality, i hope to see a speed-based fatality.

Well goddamn. You're right, but I don't really know why that's even being asked. It could easily be turned into a serious/respected Fatality.
 
Old MK3 Kabal's fatalities are crap .... these new ones here in MK9 are better and fit more suitable to MK 2011 proposal.
