Yeah, the MK9 select music was pretty bad.

I think its really good. Glad to see we are safe from any rap/hip hop music in mk 
And a lot of you guys need to move on from the old mks and face the truth. Yes the old music is awesome but it is outdated as ****. Not only that but it doesnt fit the vibe of MKX at ALL, it would only looks silly and stupid.

While I agree that the new music is really good, I can't agree with the assessment that the older music is outdated. To do so would be to admit that the older games themselves are dated, because the music is relative to their time of release/the technology available. I don't feel the classic MK games nor their music are dated; just different and awesome in their own ways.
Now, trying to affix classic MK music to the new MKX is another discussion all together...
