Say YES/NO to MK characters coming back

I love Goro, love the design... But I have a problem, I would say yes to Goro as a playable character like the others (not as a boss) or (even better) a new, younger smaller Shokan character (love that race) but if this is about Goro as a Boss I would say NO, i prefer to see new and more menacing character.

But how would this play like?I can only imagine like Kenshi`s telekinetic or sword attacks. Also take in consideration that they have 3 fight styles to worry about. The character must have a lot to work with.

I would love for one of Ashrah's potential variations to be more of a keep-away character, that allows her to de-buff her opponent by poking at her voodoo doll. Obviously, as she's poking at it, she'd have to have vulnerable frames. Maybe different buttons could do different effects and/or they could stack.

Man I love Goro! But I do agree with everyone else. We need new blood!

So No for my favourite sub boss :(
He's your favourite, but you don't want him? Makes a lot of sense. It's funny how everyone stresses that the klassics should stay, but then when one person says "no" to a kharacter, they all jump on the anti-<kharacter name> bandwagon.

As long as Kahn ins't back as well for MK X, I don't see an issue with Goro being in MK X.
Hell, he was in MK4.
I know that this timeline may or may not be MK4, but I do hope to see him return.

You just described Kenshi in MK9.

Ashrah's vodoo manipulation would obviously be one of her variations and she's do it out of range. Creativity is key here. Besides, remember Ashrah does have several other specials of her own anyway, I just don't find them anything particulary remarkable (nothing that could not be improved yes). I'm just saying vodoo should be her "theme". Neverthless, I'm pretty sure Ashrah won't be in X.

Yes for Goro. I'm all for the new kharacters, but I still have a special place in my heart for klassics.

Not really, keep in mind that this thread is not to be biased towards your favourites, but rather what makes sense in your eyes as to who should be in MKX.

Well it's weird I know. Lol I just wanna different sub boss. He's been a sub boss for like four/five different games. I love the character but I want something different lol! If that clears it up at all. I would like to see him throughout the story somehow but not the sub boss this time.

Just a suggestion, how about giving the next round to both Havik and Hotaru? They are related, you can`t have one without the other, and they are glued in the alphabetical order.

None of her specials are her own apart from her Gadouken and that's only unique as its inferior to every other projectile.
If I remember she does have a vertical and horizontal spin right? The vertical one is basically Kung Lao's move, but the horizontal one could be done different from Raiden's move. Yes, Ashrah's projectile is basically Street Fighter Dan's move. Even though I don't really like Ashrah, I see potential there.

I honestly kind of want the only returning characters to be the living pre MK4 characters, like Baraka, Kano, Ermac etc. I can't lie even though I've been an MK fan the whole time, I found pretty much every new character after MK3 to be pretty badly designed, I know Boon confirmed at least one character from MK4, and if that isn't counting out Quan Chi who evolved into a much better design than he originally was...I'd vote for Fujin, who I thought fit in pretty well too/had potential for an original and fun move set.

NO! for Goro, he is a favourite character of mine, but I would rather see different sub-bosses in MKX. I would love to see Moloch make a come-back, it would make sense since he is from the Netherrealm and Shinnok could make use of his brute force. I would be for Goro as a regular playable character on the roster though - Deception-style.
